The Short Story

Initial Expectations: The little I’ve seen from both Danny Case and 3rd Degree has been extremely impressive. I’m really looking forward to this one!

Initial Reaction: It’s one of the best fresh talent movies I’ve seen.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very good. The audio is clear and well balanced, even when Danny talks with the girls from behind the camera. Some of the sequences are shot outdoors, but there’s never any wind or background noise to interfere with things. The video is also very well done. It throws in a little black and white footage to break things up and give it a slightly more artistic feel, and is all very well lit. There’s a hint of grain, but that’s about as close as it comes to a problem.

Music: None

Menus: The DVD goes directly to the feature, rather than to the main menu. The main menu has a nice look and blends a little animation with a bit of the movie. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the lovely lady in each scene.

The Feature

Danny Case, the evil twin of Pat Myne (truth be told, I think there’s a bit of a dispute over which is the good twin and which is the evil twin) hosts New Releases, which features girls in what’s supposed to be their first ever porno experiences. Although this doesn’t seem to be true in most cases, the girls are all nice, fresh, and young. Danny starts things out with the girls arriving during the opening credits, and then focuses on them one by one starting with a little teasing and talking and then getting on with the action.

Scene 1 - Veronica Lynn and Mark Wood

Twenty year old Oriental Veronica, who hails from San Diego and has a nice and tight little natural body, says that she wants to get into porn because she’s a nympho. She starts things out in a pink and white shirt, pink panties, and knee high white boots and talks about her first sexual experience. She diddles herself for the camera before Danny brings in Mark so Veronica can show off her oral skills. This is a great scene to start things with. The pace is excellent, and it nicely lets Veronica break into things slowly. She and Mark have great chemistry, and both put out plenty of energy while the camera moves around to capture it all very well. This is a very hot scene and an excellent start to the movie!

Scene 2 - Keri Sable and Mark Ashley

Keri, a drop dead gorgeous blonde with a great natural body, starts things out in a skimpy little baby blue and white outfit complete with knee high socks to match shooting a few photos and talking with Danny. She shows off her great natural body and diddles herself a little before Mark is brought in. This is a great scene, which should come as no surprise with the job Keri’s been doing as well as the stud Mark’s become. There’s plenty of energy, and both Keri and Mark look like they’re completely into each other. This is another fantastic scene!

Scene 3 - Madison Monroe and Mark Wood

Madison, a cute brunette with highlights and a fantastic natural body, skips the masturbation as she talks with Danny, and goes right to sucking Mark’s wood shortly after they’re introduced. Scene 4 - Kat and Mark Ashley

Kat, a cute little olive skinned brunette with braces, starts things out being shown around the set and talking a little about butt sex. When she gets into it a little, Danny decides that it’s time to bring Mark in, who goes right to work tonguing her twat. This scene dragged a little for me in the middle, but picked back up to get close to the level of the other scenes. I wasn’t too taken with Kat at first as the braces look doesn’t do much for me. She also goes a bit overboard with her vocals while having fairly dead eyes for a bit of the scene, although she does takes the nasty sex very well. The nastier stuff is what seems to bring Kat to life, as she gets enthusiastic for the gapes, ass to mouth, and swallowing. She also had a bit more of a newbie feel than the other girls, which although I was partially bummed because it didn’t have the smoothness of the other scenes, I was also happy because it broadened the feel of the movie. This was the weakest scene in the movie to me, but it was still a pretty hot scene that ended well above the average mark.

Scene 5 - Cristina Agave, Benjamin Brat, and Sascha

Cristina, a long haired brunette, starts things out in a white shirt, yellow short shorts, and white and yellow knee high socks. She eagerly strips down before the guys come in and flip her upside down for a shared inverted sixty-nine. They set her down for a bit more cocksucking with plenty of throat before Ben works her ass up to four fingers while she sucks Sascha. This is a very good scene to finish things up with. Cristina has a nasty streak as strong as Kat’s, and makes it all look easy. I was amazed at how she took four of Ben’s fingers in her ass, as well as her ease with the DP. Cristina looks like she has a bit of experience in front of the camera, again, but she puts out a hot enough scene that I really couldn’t care. This is another very hot scene that finishes up the movie very well.

New Releases is one heck of a great fresh talent movie. Yes, most of the girls look like they have a bit of experience, but they look so cute and have such a fresh feel that I really can’t complain about it. They all look like they enjoy sex, put out plenty of energy, and left my balls screaming for release. Of course, it also helps that the camera work is very well done. It moves around to capture the action without letting you feel like it’s either constantly on the move or wondering when it’s going to move. I don’t think there was a single point in the movie when wanted a different camera angle, and the sex drew me in every time. New Releases is a great fuck flick, and one that’s definitely worth checking out!

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Don’t Tell My Daddy, We All Scream for Ass Cream, Camel Hoes, Upper Class, Crack Addict, and Share the Load. The photo gallery contains about forty great looking snapshots and full screen photos. There’s also a seven and a half minute cumshot loop, which sadly has everything on one chapter, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts just over seven minutes. Danny Case (or is it Pat Myne? One just can’t tell!), Chris Streams, and Mark Wood start out trying to get things right with Madison for the scene before things move to Keri and Veronica hanging out on the couch and freaking when a bee comes in. They keep it going in the makeup chair before things finally cut out. It’s a nice little behind the scenes featurette, and gives a good taste for a couple of the girls.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of 3rd Degree’s DVDs can be found online for between about $16 and $25 with quite a few stores offering them for about $20. This one’s easily worth the low end, and I’m sure many people can get their money’s worth even at the high end. The sex is smoking, the technical aspects show a lot of care, and there’s even some effort put into the extras. This is a great DVD!

Note to 3rd Degree: A few more chapter breaks would be a great thing, both in the movie and in the extras. At the very least, please separate the cum shot sequences in the extras and the opening sequences in the scenes from the sex from the cumshots.
