New Devil In Miss Jones, The Review

Well here's a dvd which has some history behind it being that it's a reimagining of an adult classic. The storyline has been tweaked some I believe by director Paul Thomas but you still have the main character of Justine Jones living out her last day as in the original movie. I must admit this movie was very confusing for me to watch as I never quite knew what was reality and what was not. I'm being honest I watched the movie and had a few times where I went huh? But I must say this right now that Savanna Samson was just amazing in her acting performance in this movie. I am by no means a fan of features so watching this movie was a challenge but nothing compared to the challenge this young lady undertook when she played this character. I would strongly urge you to watch the behind the scenes for this one as even director Paul Thomas had initial doubts as to whether or not she could play this role but by movies end this was a performance even he considered one of the best he's seen.

There were really two sex scenes in this movie that really turned me on and not surprisingly they each involved Savanna. One was out by a pool and I confess to not knowing the guy but they put on a good scene with some anal including piledriver before Savanna takes a facial. Jenna Jameson was interesting to watch in this too as she had to kinda direct Savanna on her journey through her last day but she doesn't let Savanna in on just what is going on until after their tryst outside. Again the blurring of realities in this movie was practically nonstop and I must also mention Georgina Spelvin makes a couple cameo appearances in this playing a maid, Miss Spelvin was the original Miss Jones so having her in this confusing movie made sense. I wasn't struck by the sex in this movie so much as I was by the acting of Savanna, actually the sex was pretty tame by most standards, some hot spots but this movie seemed to be more character driven than sex driven from my point of view. If you are a fan of Savanna's work with Vivid I gather this will be a departure maybe but I was really impressed with how she emmersed herself in this role. I don't think she wore a lot of makeup, the outfits weren't terribly flattering that she wore and she always seemed to be confused about what was going on and I guess I would be too if I was in her shoes. Once she realized the deal she tries to rectify matters as the movie ends but we don't know if she succeeds or not. This movie was an interesting rental for me. I got it initially for Jenna being in it but was more impressed as the movie went along with Savanna and her acting chops plus she did have the best sex shot in the movie which concluded with her taking on two men before she had to face the music as they say. I hope someone else will review this and do a better job describing just what went on but if you do like acting in porn then Savanna Samson gives a knock out performance in this new Devil In Miss Jones and I'm highly recommending it for her fans. I must confess to not really knowing much about her but from reading her bio provided she seems like a great gal and everyone I watched talk about her in this movies bts, Paul and Jenna both had great things to say about her. So kudos to Savanna for taking a chance playing this role, I think from my naive perspective on this movie that you did an incredible job and should get some nods some AVN time for this.
