The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects almost hit the average level. The audio is pretty well balanced and clear through most of the movie, but there are a few noticeable background noises that hold it back a bit. The video is presented in the full frame format, and noticeably weak. The lighting is frequently too bright and bleaches out the colors, and there's noticeable pixelation throughout the movie. At least the camera work is fairly smooth.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: The authoring is a bit funky, which doesn't seem to be anything too unusual with Naughty America. Rather than having the entire movie on a title that makes it easy for viewers to skip to where ever they choose in the movie, which is extremely nice if you get tired of a scene and just want to jump ahead randomly or if you're viewing the movie later and want to go to a specific point in the movie, each scene has its own title, similar to how some studios run their TV shows on DVD. I guess I can understand this being as Naughty America seems to work their internet content a little like TV series, but for a DVD it makes it extremely klunky to navigate. I'd like to say that I hope to see this change in the future to a more standard style, but with how little effort Naughty America has put into improving their overall DVDs in roughly a year and a half, I highly doubt it.

Menus: The main menu is very generic, and just gives you a still of the cast with the standard Naughty America music for a first impression that might be okay if you haven't seen many of Naughty America's movies. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on stills and names of the girls as well as letting you choose where to go in the scene sexually after choosing a scene.

The Feature

You may love them or you may hate them, but you know you're going to have to see your neighbors sometime. That makes it all so easy and all so hard to get a little extra something on the side with them. Maybe it starts with a friend who's helped you out a few times or maybe you need something from them. Here, Naughty America collects five of those instances from their internet line.

Scene 1 – Shyla Stylez and a guy

Once the fucking starts, however, the scene tapers off a bit and feels like it could have been tightened up. I think this mostly due to how much cowgirl and reverse cowgirl fucking there is, since it seems to go on forever. This isn't a bad scene, but with Billy barely moving through most of the fucking it just couldn't make it past the average level for me.

Scene 4 – Shy Love and Cheyne Collins

This is a decent final scene. The setup seemed a touch lame, but picked things up okay as it went on. The chemistry between the girls was okay, but overall the chemistry here seemed the weakest in the movie. There's a good balance of action between the girls, but having Aline just take the thumb in her ass seemed a bit of a cop out. This is a decent scene that keeps up with the level the rest of the movie put out.

Neighbor Affair 4 is a decent fuck flick. The setups are fairly simple, but often add a little fun to the movie and almost always start the scene off with a nice feeling of chemistry between the stars. The sex is fairly basic, but that isn't a bad thing as it's nicely captured and often feels right rather than forced. Covergirl Shyla Stylez easily had the best scene her for me, but none of the scenes fell below the average level and there was a nice mix to the action here with two group scenes thrown in rather than the one on one action I normally expect from Naughty America. Perhaps the biggest fault with Neighbor Affair 4 is that it feels like it's running out of ideas to set the scenes up with how similar so many of their scenes are from release to release. When one further combines that with the lack of care or effort Naughty America's put into improving their DVDs, it's hard not to notice some of their shortcomings. Neighbor Affair 4 isn't a bad movie, but there's just nothing that really makes it stand out in any way.

The Extra Stuff

There's a screen showing all of Naughty America's series. Whoop dee friggin do. I've seen companies put more effort into their extras by including phone sex commercials than Naughty America does.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Naughty America’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $27 with most stores offering them under $20. Aim for the low end or a little lower here. The movie's above average, but it's a bare bones disc and the technical aspects are weak with some bad pixelation. With no extras, I just can't justify this price tag as you can find plenty other companies who will give you more overall bang for your buck.

Note to Naughty America: The average porn fan probably has less of a clue who Brett Brando is than most of the male cast here. You might want to give those guys credit as they do have the potential to bring people in. The lack of effort you put into your extras also stands out, especially with how little effort you've put into improving your DVDs in the year plus you've been releasing them.
