The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Reno and Michelle Lay. I’m looking forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: You can tell it’s early for Reno, but it’s still nicely done.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is okay. It has some soft static in the background that’s noticeable, but it’s not so loud that you can’t here the performers. This is a reality porn type of movie, so the balance varies a little in the audio and you get a few background noises as well. The video has much the same feel. It’s lit pretty well and has some very slight grain to it. It also has the feeling of being shot quite a bit from a handheld camera, but doesn’t have a lot of camera shake or other problems.

Music: There’s a little soft and romantic music at the start that sets things on the right path, but it disappears quickly.

Disc Complaints: There’s no time stamp, which is one of the little things that always stands out to me. Quite often I don’t have the time to watch a full movie, and I also like to jump back to specific spots in a movie. With a time stamp you can jump to specific instances in a movie and with many players leave a movie to come back to the specific instant you left off. Without the time stamp you’re stuck going back to the chapter breaks only. From what I understand it takes almost no effort or cost to include a time stamp, so whenever I come across a DVD without one it always seems a bit cheap to me or like whoever made the DVD didn’t really care that much about the people who are buying it. I think this was Club Reno’s first release, so it’s not something I’m holding against them here.

Menus: The menus are fairly simple, but work. The main menu brings in a bit of the movie with the choices nicely displayed. The chapter menu lets you choose from a small clip of each chapter and a chapter number.

The Feature

The Naughty Naturals series works with a simple idea. You start with girls who still have their God given bodies and then put them with another natural girl who they really want to be with. There’s no real setup to the scenes, just straightforward sex. In this episode, Michelle Lay and Staci Waters get the pleasure of working each other over.

Scene 1 - Michelle Lay and Stacy Waters

Michelle and Stacy start things out kissing passionately on the bed while slowly undressing each other. They let their mouths wander across each other’s body, neither neglecting toes nor fingers, and of course take plenty of time to savor the good parts. Stacy gets the first taste, but Michelle takes more time to work on Stacy’s shaved slit when it’s her turn. After a little sixty-nining, Stacy breaks out a pocket rocket as well as a small vibe for Michelle to use on her. They take turns working on each other with the toys before grinding against each other with the vibe between them. Michelle and Staci lay back with a toy and work on themselves and each other for a while before Michelle gives Staci’s ass a little spanking. Finally they finish things with a kiss.

This is a very good scene. At times it felt a little long, but most of the time the length didn’t bother me at all. The girls look like they’re having an excellent time and the chemistry carries the scene extremely well. The scene also feels extremely natural due to some of the comments from the girls as well as their reactions. My only complaint about the sex was that there was a bit of lizard kissing and tongue sucking that didn’t look quite right. The girls still do an great job here, and make the scene work.

The problem with the movie is with the camera work, and since I think that this was one of Reno’s first movies I’m going to try to go fairly easy on him because from what I’ve seen he’s learned a bit since he made this movie. It has a realistic feel that part of me likes, but at times seemed a little primitive. The bigger problem is the camera’s focus. It’s focused way too much on crotch shots, and because of it the action lacked a little. At one point I think Michelle was giving Staci some good foot sucking, but you never see it because the camera is too focused on Staci’s cookie. It continues through much of the movie by cutting the head off the girls as they lay back. I really couldn’t tell if the room was so small that the camera couldn’t get far enough away to get everything in or if it was just that focused on being right where the action is. In any case, the chemistry still comes through very well but things are held back slightly if you want the big picture.

Overall, Naughty Naturals is a nicely done all girl feature. Michelle and Staci have nice energy here, but it’s the chemistry which makes the whole movie work. The camera work is a bit primitive, but it works well enough for things to come across from the girls. This is far from a perfect feature, but it’s still quite enjoyable.

The Extra Stuff

The slide show lasts about two minutes with five seconds per okay looking full screen photo. I can’t be positive, but the photos look pretty much like they’re just plain screen captures.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, Club Reno’s DVDs can be found online for between about $18 and $25 with several stores offering them for around $20. I’d suggest renting this one first. If you like it, you should really like it, but many will probably think that one time’s enough here. The action has great chemistry, but there’s only one scene. The technical aspects are pretty average and there isn’t really anything for extras.
