Initial Expectations: This has been one of my favorite series to watch, and Kobiata’s review gives me even higher hopes than usual.

Initial Reaction: Although Mei Yu smokes in her scene, the rest isn’t as good as some others in the series.

Who Should Watch It : Raincoaters and anybody who enjoys fresh talent and the “schoolgirl” look

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants a plot, anal or lesbian sex, or consistently high technical aspects

Audio /Video Quality: Digital Sin keeps a low budget on their all sex features, but that doesn’t mean there technical aspects are leaving a lot to be desired. The video is very clear and rarely plagued by shadows. The audio, however, leaves a bit to be desired in places. Any conversations, such as in interviews, are very hard to hear and far from balanced. It’s normally pretty well balanced during the sex, but there are a few minor problems as well as a couple noises from off camera that can be heard.

Music: None.

Menus: The main menu looks pretty basic, although it tries, and succeeds, at being fun. Rather than giving the typical choices such as Play Movie and Chapter Menu, Naughty College School Girls 9 gives you choices entitled Go To Class and Class Schedule. It more than makes up for the simple main menu, and gets the DVD off on the right start.

The Feature: The Naughty College School Girls series has kept to a pretty simple formula. Each scene starts out with the girl giving a short tease, which normally also includes a short voice-over from the girl, and then moves on to the sex. The girls normally start out dressed in some of the stereotypical schoolgirl outfits, such as a plaid skirt and white shirt and often have their hair pulled back into a ponytail. This episode is no different in its format.

Bailey, a cute brunette with slightly sun-bleached hair, starts things out with Erik Everhard on the rare porn location of an actual bed. Erik jumps onto the bed with his cock sticking out of his pants, so Bailey starts to work it over with her mouth while paying quite a bit of attention to the camera. I have nothing against the girl paying attention to the camera, providing it’s done right, as if the girl is watching you. Although fresh can be a turn-on, I’ve rarely found clueless to be a turn on and am thankful Bailey got into it by the end of the scene.

Aurora Snow, a nice looking brunette with a natural body who’s become the focus of many wet dreams for guys around the world, gets her lesson next from Dillion Day after she gives a short interview. This one seemed very similar to many of Aurora’s other early performances, so I’m sure fans of her work will be pleased with it. Myself, I was a little bored. It’s clear that Aurora enjoyed herself, but most of the enjoyment stayed inside her rather than being let out so it would be visible.

Mei Yu, a slightly above average Oriental girl with a nice and natural body, starts out her scene giving Erik Everhard an oral examination. She gets into doin’ the dirty deed very well, but does play to the camera a bit (although nowhere near the amount Baily did). Yes, Mei does play to the camera a bit too much in the wrong way, but with her energy for the scene it’s almost impossibly to not like it.

Dominica Leoni, a cute brunette with her hair slightly bleached, a nice natural body, and a few tattoos, lets Dillion Day teach her a thing or two in the penultimate scene. Once again, Dillion starts out kind of slow, but he’s a little more aggressive here pinching Dominica’s nipples. It’s not at all what I expected, and didn’t really feel like it fit in that well with the other scenes.

Naughty College School Girls 9 holds up pretty well against most of the rest of the series. There’s hits and misses, although none of the scenes miss so badly that you feel like you should have been doing laundry rather than watching porn. Perhaps the biggest problem with the sex is that a couple of the girls watch the cameras a little much for my tastes. On the plus side, most of the girls have a fresh feeling to them, which is something I think many people have started to pay attention to this series for, and you almost feel worn out just watching Mei Yu’s scene. The other thing which holds this feature back is the audio quality. It’s one thing to be cheaply done. It’s another thing entirely to feel cheaply done, which is how the audio comes off in many places. Overall, Naughty College School Girls 9 is an above average feature that lags behind some of the other episodes in this series and could have been much better with a little more care.

Extras: The photo gallery, here called a Yearbook, contains almost fifty very good looking photos. Unfortunately, it’s the only new extra. The rest is the B-Side of recycled material that Digital Sin has been using for what seems like forever. It used to be a nice mix of trailers and star featurettes, but Digital Sin’s lack of caring about updating it has made it so that I don’t even want to check out anything beyond their features.

Raincoat Factor: Extreme

Overall: Currently, Naughty College Schoolgirls 9 can be found online for between $17 and $25 with most stores offering it for under $20. I’d suggest renting this one first, as I didn’t think it was as good as others in the series. Mei Yu is the only girl to really stand out in her scene with the rest hovering around average. The video is clear but the audio is a little more problematic than usual, and the extras are the same recycled ones you’ve probably seen way more than you wish you had.

Note to Digital Sin: I realize that this DVD has been out for a while, but please kill your B-side full of extras. It’s every bit as bad as Vivid’s early 4 hour claims with the same extras on every DVD. Also, please give your audio quality a little more attention. It really did hold this one back and when there are problems with things such as voice overs, it looks very sloppy.
