Truth be told, I am beginning to feel I've been far too generous to movies like this,
but let's be fair - without reference to any other flicks, Naughty College
Schoolgirls 25 is a poor enough movie in its own right. It doesn't serve
the "let's leer at lovely young girls" crowd very well (they don't linger
long on the girls' looks - the tease element is brushed over swiftly in
the rush to get to the uninspired sex, touching on the young theme only
in passing, which isn't necessarily a bad thing), it doesn't provide especially
hardcore action, if that's what might be desired, it's not even good value
at a paltry 76 minutes, and, finally, with its almost apologetic, tongue-in-cheek
humour (like they're saying "yes, we know it's crap!") it certainly doesn't
cater to the features crowd. Director Tyrone Shoes is unknown to me, but
the name sounds suspiciously like an Alan Smithee style pseudonym, attempting
to disown the work. And no wonder. The trouble is that this movie isn't
alone - Digital Sin and others like them are churning them out by the
dozen, and that's exactly how it feels. Naughty College Schoolgirls 25
is just another product of the porn production line, and there's absolutely
no reason to recommend it over anything on those crowded shelves.
DVD Comments
The picture quality on most scenes is very weak - the colours are feeble
and slightly grainy, but what's really annoying is the continuous irritating
"tape edge" flicker at the top of the screen throughout the whole movie.
It's just indicative of the lacklustre nature of the whole product. The
sound is okay, if that really matters here, but the extras are lacking.
A photo gallery is it - the flip side houses the same old selection of
tat from Digital Sin. I gather they've addressed these issues of late,
but this disc is again poor value on the extras front.
