Initial Expectations: Naughty America has some fun setups and can have some good sex in their movies, but I just can't get too excited about them any more as they put less effort into their overall DVDs than rap 'artists' put into learning proper English.

Initial Reaction: It doesn't come close to making the grade.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a DVD that shows even a minimum of care or well done sex

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is all over the place. It varies from clear and nicely balanced to muffled with plenty of background noises. The video is much the same way. Most of the action is well lit with smooth camera work, but the picture varies from being clear to noticeably pixelated. There's also about twenty seconds in the opening scene around the two minute mark where the audio disappears and the video goes all funky.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: The authoring is a bit funky, which doesn't seem to be anything too unusual with Naughty America. Rather than having the entire movie on a title that makes it easy for viewers to skip to where ever they choose in the movie, which is extremely nice if you get tired of a scene and just want to jump ahead randomly or if you're viewing the movie later and want to go to a specific point in the movie, each scene has its own title, similar to how some studios run their TV shows on DVD. Needless to say, this makes the DVD extremely hard to navigate. At one point I had hopes of them improving their authoring, but since they haven't done anything in the year and a half or so I've been checking them out it doesn't look like they care about their DVDs that much.

Menus: The main menu is very unremarkable and just gives a still with each of the girls and the choices. The chapter menu is pretty good, and lets you choose a scene based on a still of each scene with the name(s) of the girl(s) in the scene.

The Feature

Some girls just can't deal with failure. Maybe it's because they're dumber than a box of rocks, maybe they're overachievers, or maybe they just have more attitude than they know what to do with. Whatever the reason, some teachers are going to make sure they get some satisfaction out of letting them pass their class with flying colors, as well as some cum flying over their faces.

Scene 1 – Riley Shy and a guy

Hot redhead Riley starts the action out touching up her makeup when she's supposed to be studying wearing a jean skirt, pink and white striped panties, a light pink spaghetti strap top, and flip flops. The bigger problem was the facial, which sunk below average despite some good volume due to Riley staring at the camera while taking it. This scene has potential but doesn't make it much past the average mark overall.

Scene 2 – Michelle Maylene and a guy

Michelle, who's in a jean skirt, medium sleeve striped shirt, glasses, and heeled loafers, claims to be studying despite having the book upside down, and is not happy having to stay late and study with how active and popular she is at school. She continues to throw around the attitude that she's told is the reason she's there, and eventually gets told she's going to have to go off curriculum and suck his dick. He grabs her hand and shoves it into his pants before demanding that he take it out and put it in her mouth, which she gets after throwing around a bit more attitude. Michelle keeps throwing attitude at him while sucking his cock, and keeps it up when demanding he lick her pussy. Yes, there is some reverse cowgirl, but that isn't until the last three minutes of a scene lasting nearly twenty five. This is a humorous scene with some slightly above average sex.

Scene 3 – Brandy Talore, Jack Venice, and a guy

Brandy, with her hair half bleached, a pink tank top, a plaid skirt, knee high white and pink athletic socks, and classic pink and white Nike sneakers, and her boyfriend Jack can't believe that the teacher's failing them and she isn't happy that he's going to ruin her 4.0 and that's going to lose her fully paid for college. Scene 4 – Holly Morgan and a guy

The scene does move a bit slow, as usual with Naughty America taking twenty five minutes to go through three positions, and once again I found myself rather easily distracted because of it. This isn't a bad scene, but it's just so similar to the others in every way that it's hard to get too worked up about it. Holly is as cute as ever, but sometimes cute just isn't enough.

Scene 5 – Sabrina Lewis and a guy

Brunette Sabrina, in a gray spaghetti strap top, a turquoise skirt, and flip flops, doesn't think her professor is being fair with the grade he's giving her since she tried really hard even if she did get mostly wrong answers. Naughty Book Worms 5 doesn't come close to making the grade. There's nothing really bad about it, but there's also nothing that's too memorable. The girls are cute, and I really like how they're dressed basically in street clothes rather than being all porned up. That's easily the high point of the movie, though, as every scene seems to last forever and felt like five minutes could have been cut out of each scene without losing anything. The scenes all last about twenty five minutes and none of them even see four positions. Almost all of the scenes go from oral for the guy and girl to having missionary, doggie, and reverse cowgirl and normally it's even in that order. This gives the movie a heavy feeling of repetition that feels like more weight dragging down a movie that's already sinking fast due to an obvious lack of overall care that starts on the boxcover and continues through the movie. The girls and Brett Brando are the only ones credited in the movie, with Brando's name getting the biggest lettering of the bunch on the cover. This has really started to rub me wrong lately, as I think having some fresh male faces is going to be a bigger draw than a director who most people haven't heard of. Naughty Book Worms 5 has some nice ideas, but it just isn't given the care to really make it a worthwhile movie.

The Extra Stuff

There's a cheap looking screen showing Naughty America's offerings online. Seeing the effort they put into their overall DVDs, I can't really see anybody wanting to pay them a monthly fee.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Naughty America’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $27 with most stores offering them under $20. Aim low or rent this one first. The sex isn't bad, but it's repetitive and horribly drawn out in every scene. The technical aspects are weak and there's absolutely no effort put into the overall DVD beyond listing who the girls are in the chapter menu. This DVD doesn't make the grade.

Note to Naughty America: If you want to keep putting out DVDs without putting any effort or care into them, please drop your prices so retailers can sell them for under $10 like other shoddy studios do.
