The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Marie Madison has done a pretty darn good job for a near-amateur studio and has done a very good job showing that she isn't afraid of taking a few risks with her movies. I'm looking forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: It's a bit inconsistent due to the wide range Marie Madison tries to focus on, but there's still plenty to like due to Marie's care about shooting what works for her.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are fairly average. The audio is pretty average, and although I didn't notice any very noticeable background noises, it also didn't ever do anything to overly impress me. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and is pretty good. There's a touch of grain to the presentation, but the lighting is nicely done. There's also a little camera motion due to the often handheld methods employed to make the movie.

Music: There's a little music in some of the scenes that works very well and varies a little in balance.

Menus: The main menu blends a few clips from the movie with the choices for an okay first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a still of each scene.

The Feature

Naughty Bits mixes up many of Marie Madison's scenes with Marie talking about herself and her movies. Marie talks about her progression in the adult business, why she shoots what she does, as well as some of the crap she's taken over the years between scenes that show the wide variety of things she likes and shoots, which are often fetishes many overlook.

Marie starts out ”Random Blowjob Nine” nibbling on a sack and licking the cock before starting to suck it. She mixes in a few naughty winks, a little throat, some stroking, and plenty of eye contact along with a bit of spit as she works the cock over. If you're a fan of Marie Madison or just somebody who's curious about her movies, Naughty Bits is a very good release to pick up. I'll readily admit that not all of the scenes worked overly well for me, but one of the great things about Marie's movies is that you can tell she's trying to shoot what works for her sexually rather than trying to please somebody else. There's a very nice mix of action here including anal sex, a cream pie, handjobs, and plenty of oral, and because of her trying to remain true to herself even though the action didn't completely draw me in, I could almost always appreciate it because that care comes out very well through the movie. I also really like her interviews between the scenes where she talks about her scenes and what makes them different. Due to some of the rough and heavier fetish nature of Naughty Bits I can easily see it being a bumpy road for many porn viewers, but thanks to the care Marie Madison put into this release I can also easily recommend it to anybody who's the least bit curious about it.

You get a good variety of well done scenes that are nicely presented as well as some good care put into the extras with a nice pair of bonus scenes. This is a very nicely done release.

Note to Marie Madison Media: Please watch some of the claims you make on running time on your website. Yes, it is true for the overall DVD, but even with some good care put into the extras like you did here many people are going to be a bit turned off finding the movie barely lasts an hour instead of nearly a half hour as your site claims at the time of this review.
