No, it’s not the old Cornell Wilde film with a naked Cornell fleeing a vengeful tribe, but it is an oldie. Both the tilted and the cover are grossly misleading and seem to suggest the film I just mentioned rather than the film in hand.

In this one Jeremy Fox, a good-looking young man with a receding hairline, is moving into a new apartment. Jeremy is lonely but there is a man that he longs for in dreams—a real “dream man”. The man in his dreams is naked, of course. (Maybe prey should have been spelled “pray”.)
While unpacking he is interrupted by a next-door neighbor, Tad Garret. Tad is an attractive—but aging—surfer type with long curly blond hair. Tad’s lover has just thrown him out for being unfaithful. He cajoles Jeremy into going with him to a gay bar.
At the bar, tad quickly abandons Jeremy in pursuit of a straight guy, Vic Hall, who resembles a rough-trade version of Matt Dillon. Tad gives Vic a blowjob in the alley.

Jim Steel’s films for Vivid (of which this is one transferred to DVD) always featured interesting young men but were—for the most part—only average. Now and again one of them would surpass the mundane and become hot and original. This is such a film.
