The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Robby D.'s gunplay fetish has been very hit or miss for me, but the original Naked Aces worked pretty well for me. I'm looking forward to this one, but there's still a touch of apprehension for me.

Initial Reaction: It's a lot of fun and has me hoping that there will be a Naked Aces 3 that expands things even further!

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting a fun little porn comedy that's light on the plot

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting very straightforward action without any artistic style

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio varies throughout the movie from being nicely done to being a little muffled and hard to understand. I know, that pesky setup dialogue isn't to matter, but with how much fun this movie is it was a definite loss. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks pretty good. It's sometimes a little too soft and there are a few minor soft focus blurs, but every now and then Robby seems to try something a little different with the video style. Sometimes that works and sometimes that doesn't, and although it doesn't work that well here I can't help but like that Robby looks like he wants to try something different now and then rather than refusing to try anything new or different.

Music: There's music throughout the movie. It varies in balance, and sometimes gets a little loud, but often has a rock beat that seems nicely different from the usual porn music.

Menus: The main menu Works through some nice animation to settle on a pretty good still with a little more animation worked in. The chapter menu is fairly basic letting you choose a scene based on a clip and a chapter number, but also lets you know the name(s) of the girl(s) in the first chapter of their scene.

The Feature

When Marco the Fag's dildo gets stolen, Jesse Jane and the Naked Aces set out to get it back. It doesn't matter if they have to take on master ninjas or if they have to break into the German Dildo Lovers headquarters to try getting it back. Somebody's going down for Marco's dildo, and they're going to go down hard.

Scene 1 – Brianna Love, Jesse Jane, Rebecca Linares, and Marco Banderas

After unloading with a pair of sub guns while wearing a sliver bikini with pink fishnets and pink and white bracelets, Jesse plays with herself and gives a nice show. Afterwards things cut to a very light Marco with a gold sequined Speedo and a gold scarf around his neck thrilled to find a bed full of dildos and vibes. When he gets ready to slide it into himself he's interrupted by gun toting bikini sluts Jesse, Rebecca, and Brianna, who reminds him that dicks are for chicks and decide to show him what dicks are really for. Finally, Marco unloads a decent pop on Brianna's ass before Marco notices that his favorite toy disappeared.

This is a great scene. The opening is hot with Jesse and hilarious with Marco, and it doesn't slow down once it turns from humor and eye candy to sex. The entire scene is a complete mess of bodies (in the good way) with the chemistry flowing everywhere as the girls play with Marco and each other. There's constant motion in the group and never a dull moment. This scene starts Naked Aces 2 off on a high note with no sign of sequel-itis in sight.

Scene 2 – Renae Cruz and Chris Charming

After giving a little tease with a couple guns, smokin' hot Naked Ace Renae sets out to get Marco's dildo back from Chris with a bullpup and a bit of persuasion. She's pretty sure he hid it in his pants, so he tells her to look since she's the one with the gun. She breaks open his pants to happily find a real cock instead that she strokes and sucks before granting Chris's request to stroke it with her titties. Renae gets up to ride him reverse cowgirl style until he pops, and then sucks and strokes him a little more to get him ready to withstand her riding him again in each of the cowgirls. She sucks him a little more before having him fuck her from behind, and finishes things up taking a second load from Chris on her ass.

This is another hot scene. There's great chemistry between Renae and Chris, and although she overdoes her vocals a touch it rarely feels overdone too much. Renae puts out some nice energy taking on Chris, and he's just as impressive with his two pops for the scene. This is another hot and very fun scene.

Scene 3 – Madison Young and Jerry

Strawberry blonde Madison shoots off a few rounds as she makes her way through a house in a turquoise bikini until she finds Marco the Fag's toy. She gives it a kiss before laying back with it in the bedroom and furiously spanking her pussy with it. She takes care of herself before mullet-sporting Jerry, aka Dr. Fillyougood, tries stealing the dildo from her and instead gets bullets flying all around him. She's determined to take him down any way she can, and throws him down on the bed so she can suck his cock while giving him some great eyes and letting him play with her ass. Madison moves up to ride Jerry cowgirl style before sucking him clean and turning around for the reverse cowgirl. She sucks him clean again before laying back and letting him fuck each of her holes missionary style. Finally, Jerry lets go with a nice pop around Madison's pussy and she reaches down to get a good taste.

This scene didn't work quite as well for me. Madison did a great job taking Jerry in each of her holes, and got into it nicely with some good vocals. The problem for me as the camera work and editing. There seemed to be a stronger focus on gyno-cam action for this scene and it seemed to flip back and forth a bit more as well. The scene also had a tight and almost claustrophobic feeling that didn't do anything for me. Madison and Jerry do a very good job, but this scene just couldn't keep up with the others.

Scene 4 – Jesse Jane and Tommy Gunn

Ninja master Tommy thinks he has the dildo, but that all changes when Jesse shows up with a rocket launcher to take him down and take back the dildo. It knocks him onto the bed where she quickly starts stripping him down so they can sixty-nine as well as letting Tommy fuck her face as she hangs her head back over the bed. This is another pretty good scene. Jesse really puts out the energy, and puts out even more vocals. This takes the scene a bit over the top and left me fading out of the scene just a touch. Yes, Jesse and Tommy look like they're having fun, but the scene comes across as being almost a little outlandish and that held back the scene a bit for me. This isn't a bad scene, but it can't keep up with the first few.

Scene 5 – Candy Manson and Marco Banderas

When bottle blonde Candy heads back with Jesse to deliver Marco the Fag his dildo, they learn he now likes pussy. Jesse heads off to let Marco feed Candy a few dildos before moving down to lick her pussy. She sucks his cock in return before getting on all fours for him to him take her from behind and then getting up to ride him in each of the cowgirls. This is another pretty good scene. I'm not as taken with big titty bottle blondes as many others are, so I'm sure others will like this one better than I did. There's some good chemistry and energy between Candy and Marco, but the editing seemed a bit more chopped up to me and it fell a touch short again. This is one of those scenes that isn't poorly done, but just didn't feel right for my tastes.

Naked Aces 2 is a nice change from the original, and a nicely entertaining fuck flick. Where the original went with a vignette feel, this time Robby takes the style of the original and builds it into a fun Charlie's Angel's-like spoof with Jesse leading the “Naked Aces” bikini babes who have no shortage of attitudes or ammo. The setups are simple, but they're always worth a chuckle and provide just enough framework for this to be considered a light feature. There's a nice variety to the sex with it working in plenty of one on one action along with a bit of anal and a big group scene. The opening group scene with Jesse Jane, Rebecca Linares, Brianna Love, and Marco Banderas was easily my favorite, starting out with a plenty of laughs with “Marco the Fag” as well as everybody seeming completely into everybody else sexually. Renae Cruz's scene is right up there both for humor and sex, while Madison Young's scene fell a bit short on both the opening and the sex. Naked Aces 2 is a fun fuck flick that leaves me hoping for this to turn into a longer series with Robby D. having more fun and expanding it even further into the feature realm.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery can be viewed either manually or as a nearly four minute slide show with about five seconds per very nice looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also cumshot recaps, a bio for Jesse Jane, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about nine minutes and features camera work by the lovely Shay Jordan and Jamal Johnson. Renae starts things out having fun testing out the dildo out orally with Shay before having a quick talk with Jesse and then chatting a bit more with Madison about San Francisco. Renae is next with a little request before talking about getting her hood pierced. Rebecca also gets in on the fun and has a nail injury before Jesse returns for a little fun with Jamal and Shay tries out Madison. The fun continues around Brianna and Marco's scene with the girls before going back for a little more fun around the set. Not surprisingly, this is a fun featurette. There's plenty of laughs along with some nicely sexy footage. If you enjoyed the movie, make sure to check this featurette out as well.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. If you want something light, fun, and a bit artistic, this one should be well worth your money. The sex is hot and there's a few laughs mixed in for the movie to make it a lot of fun. The technical aspects are above average, but sadly not up to the usual level I've come to expect from Digital Playground. There is, however, a very nice and fun behind the scenes featurette that helps out the overall DVD. This is a good DVD that's worth checking out.
