Nacho Rides Again

Look, I don’t want to sound ungrateful. I really was delighted Nacho finally took even a temporary return trip to straight porn. No problem to see him pick up on the darker mood of his Back 2 Evil period, nor to see some of his raw charisma and macho attitude. I could even live with it if this meant the cute Eurobabes from the heady heights of the best of Killer Pussy were out, and severe-looking Latin sirens were in. I was just glad to have the guy back. But then I started to notice the little things – girls with tattoos here, fake boobs there – and I began to wonder if this is like one of those times you hook up with an old friend only to realise you’re no longer on the same wavelength.

Ariana & Sweet Sugar
Nacho follows the “Yellow Squirt Road” to a graffiti-ridden room, heightening the air of crawling sleaze; here Ariana is already involved in a heated clinch with busty (surgically assisted) blonde Sweet Sugar. The key issue about this scene seems to be the subtlety of the way Nacho asserts control over Ariana – the psychology and the almost whispered comments that are, at times, quite mind blowing.

Sugar looks hot, stretching every sinew in her body as Nacho fucks her as they stand, but ultimately she gets sidelined - few can share the spotlight with Miss Ariana, all tan, curvy and sexy. Squirting, deep throating, anal and straight-forward, passionate, powerful fucking - not to mention using a strap-on on her gal pal in some eye-watering anal - she brings it all a totally convincing attitude, enhanced by some nifty shooting and editing that briefly has me forgetting I’m watching a porn movie. Perhaps unavoidably a more conventional camera style covers the sex, but for a moment this looked like a real departure from the norm.

Natalia
Natalia’s impressive figure lights up the screen, the detraction of jutting silicone implants aside, but she’s not exactly pretty. The opening moments, which have a tension and eroticism sadly unmatched by the rest of the scene, suggest that Roberto Chivas is going to be dominated and fucked senseless by this amazon, but in practise she’s almost entirely submissive. Her deep throat skills are particularly awesome but I just tended to feel that while there’s some very strong, aggressive fucking on show here, I was a little disappointed they didn’t follow through on the promise of the initial exchanges. It is, nonetheless, a generous serving (perhaps overly generous) of strong sex, well executed.

Tiffany
Same room provides the setting for a fruity fumble featuring Nacho with Miss Tiffany Hopkins. While I realise Truffaut or Godard never had little nymphs in tiny shorts with their nipples poking through fishnets in anticipation of a sound seeing to from a Spanish stud, the opening moments of the scene with their whimsical dialogue come across like an unintentional pastiche of a nouvelle vague movie – she absent-mindedly nibbles fruit while he ponders, as I do, if she’s really the paradigm of the pouting French sexpot that she appears to be. This sets the tone for a vibrant scene that’s strong without being harsh. Tiffany helps Nacho decide whether her likes her or not by offering access to every inch of her lovely little body. The look on her face when he enters her ass is a perfect picture of bittersweet sensation.

Samantha
After this comes Samantha Blanco, another leggy Latin man-eater who is rather similar in looks to Natalia – long, flowing dark hair, super long legs and really rather well built but unfortunately with fake boobs that look worse the longer you look at them. This is a lengthy affair, with Nacho in significantly more assertive mode, which includes some gritty anal as well as featuring sex over (and under) stools, sofas, kitchen tables and Nacho even runs her head under the tap(!). A fiery and active participant to some extent, Samantha nonetheless plays a submissive role. There are too few clear shots of her face for me to remark on her looks before Nacho has put her through the wringer, so to speak, at which stage I feel it would be unfair of me to comment!

Morgana & Lucia
The final set-up has a kinky BDSM vibe but little more with Lucia, a masked slave in an opaque nylon body stocking and Morganan, a hot-looking blonde in a fishnet number (both girls again sport bolt-on boobs). Great legs, sexy asses, fit and healthy looking physiques – once again I have to ask, why the needless tampering with nature? I don’t understand it. I also don’t understand why the promising premise doesn’t translate into a really hot scene. There are some nice details here - I like seeing the girls kiss while one wears the mask, it looks peculiar but provocative - but otherwise a lot of energy is expended on some quite humdrum sex with very little chemistry about it.

In conclusion
Like I said, I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but Nacho Rides Again leaves me a little puzzled. Perhaps I just wasn’t in the mood, perhaps I just didn’t get the desired effect, but my overall impression is that this is a good, not great movie. I can’t help feeling that the cast has a significant part in that conclusion. My very rough understanding was that Nacho was getting a little disenchanted with the disingenuous attitude of the girls he was working with, so it puzzles me that he should fill the movie with these hard looking fake-busted stripper types who turn in performances only marginally more “real” than the cute Eurobabes I must confess I heartily enjoyed watching Nacho overwhelm!

Nacho’s own performance is as adept as ever and Ariana and Tiffany are delightful but by and large it’s the other girls, with their fake boobs and rather harsh demeanours, who just didn’t do it for me. That said, there’s plenty of provocative viewing, bags of attitude and enough worm’s eye views of great butts and long legs to provide what should be some diverting viewing. Simply put, for some reason, Nacho Rides Again just didn’t quite click with me.

DVD Comments
Generally very good picture quality with a slightly cinematic look to the image (24p camera, I wonder?) but the last scene does look like it dates from a different time and was certainly looks like it was shot either with a different camera or mode, which seems slightly out of place. Sound is good, though a lot of the whispered comments that give the movie its feel are hard to make out. Sorry to see there’s no extra footage - the usual bundle of pix, filmographies etc will have to suffice.
