Initial Expectations: Although their overall DVDs could normally use a bit more care and attention, there's a charm about Naughty America's movies that keep my coming back with decent expectations. This one's no different.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty average. The audio is clear, but there are a few places where the balance falters a bit and a couple very minor background noises. The video is presented in the full frame format and is very average. There's a few lighting imbalances, a little pixelation, and some extremely minor camera motion, but nothing that ever really interferes with the movie.

Disc Complaints / Authoring Notes: The authoring is a bit funky, which doesn't seem to be anything too unusual with Naughty America. Rather than having the entire movie on a title that makes it easy for viewers to skip to where ever they choose in the movie, which is extremely nice if you get tired of a scene and just want to jump ahead randomly or if you're viewing the movie later and want to go to a specific point in the movie, each scene has its own title, similar to how some studios run their TV shows on DVD. Needless to say, this makes the DVD extremely hard to navigate.

Menus: The main menu is far from impressive, and gives the choices over a clip from the movie. The chapter menu shows some nice effort, and lets you choose a scene based on a still of each girl and her name. After making the choice you're given a second menu that lets you choose where you want to go in the scene sexually.

The Feature

My Wife's Hot Friend 2 is a nice couples friendly releases with a cheating theme. I know that seems like an odd combination, but Naughty America makes it work very well. The openings are always fun and have a bit of chemistry to drive them, and they never come off with a mean spirit like some other cheating themed movies. The chemistry continues nicely through each scene, and the girls put out some good energy and vocals. There isn't a lot of variety once you get past the first scene, which provides all of the variety in the movie with an interracial threesome, but I can't complain about that too much because the scenes are always so friendly and enjoyable. The action is also very consistent from scene to scene with the exception of Sara Jay's scene with Talon, which just couldn't keep up with the rest. It's easy to find cheating movies that are nastier or more mean spirited than My Wife's Hot Friend 2, but it's hard to find them as friendly and full of chemistry as it is here.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Naughty America’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $27 with most stores offering them under $20. Aim for the low end here. The scenes are nicely done and consistent with very good chemistry, but there's not a lot of variety to the movie once you get past the first scene. The technical aspects are pretty average and there's no real effort put into the extras to help out the overall DVD. This is a nice movie, but as usual with Naughty America the DVD as a whole doesn't show a lot of effort.

Note to Naughty America: You do a very nice job with your scenes, but it would be nice to see you put a little more effort into your DVDs with better technical aspects and a bit of effort towards your extras.
