Initial Expectations: Although I've liked a lot of what I've seen from Naughty America, this has been my favorite series by far. I can't help but look forward to this one!

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are a bit hit or miss. The audio is pretty well done, and is clear and well balanced through most of the with a few minor problems popping up for some of the outdoor sequences. The video is presented in the full frame format and is where the problems pop up. Most of the action is clear and well lit, although there are a few minor shadows that come up in some areas. The bigger problem is that in the first and fourth scene the movie is squished so that there's black bars on the left and right side of the screen. This gives those scenes an odd look that definitely interferes with the action.

Music: None

Disc Complaints / Authoring Notes: The authoring is a bit funky, which doesn't seem to be anything too unusual with Naughty America. Rather than having the entire movie on a title that makes it easy for viewers to skip to where ever they choose in the movie, which is extremely nice if you get tired of a scene and just want to jump ahead randomly or if you're viewing the movie later and want to go to a specific point in the movie, each scene has its own title, similar to how some studios run their TV shows on DVD. Needless to say, this makes the DVD extremely hard to navigate.

Menus: The main menu nicely works from a little animation into a few clips from the movie and gives a good first impression. The chapter menu also shows a touch of effort, and lets you choose a scene based on the name of the hot friend in each scene and a still. After you choose a girl you're given the choice of where you'd like to go in the scene sexually and a larger still of the girl.

The Feature

This is an extremely enjoyable scene that starts off the movie very well in addition to bring a great reminder that AnnMarie's back and should be noticed. Unfortunately, great as it is, the scene is held back a little by somebody botching the video presentation as I mentioned above. Even with somebody messing up the video for it, this is a great scene.

Christian starts the next scene out on the phone planning a raid when bottle blonde Lilly walks up looking for his sister and wondering if she can hang out there since her A/C's down. This is a fairly simple scene, but also one that worked quite well and had some good heat to it.

Alan arrives home chatting with his sister on his cell before learning that his sister's friend Capri is staying with them. He heads upstairs looking forward to catching up with her, and checks her out on the stair stepper before reaching in to surprise her. She lets him know that she picked up quite a bit of French after staying there for three years, is told that whenever he hears French he gets a boner. He has her speak French, and after catching up a little more start kissing. Capri drops down to suck Alan's cock before laying back to have her pussy eaten and fingered. This is another straightforward but well done scene.

My Sister's Hot Friend 13 is another very nice addition to an extremely reliable series. The setups are normally fairly simple, but they're also fun and have a touch of familiarity that I think most any viewer can relate to since I think most everybody out there with a brother or sister has at one time or another, wanted to bang one of their sibling's friends. The openings also help the scenes to start with some very nice chemistry, and that chemistry always carries through the scenes. Scarlett's scene didn't do too much for me as her personal style is a complete turn-off for me, but the other scenes are nicely done. AnnMarie Rios easily rises above the pack starting out the movie, and makes it easy to see why many are so impressed with her comeback. There's nothing too new in My Sister's Hot Friend 13, but when a series is as enjoyable as this there's nothing wrong with sticking with what works.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts a bit over five and a half minutes with about five seconds per nice looking snapshot. There's also website information and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about six minutes. AnnMarie has a few words with the camera while showing off her usual lovely personality before Rocco takes his turn and has a bit of fun. They also share a fine meal while chatting with the BTS dude. This is a nice little featurette with AnnMarie and Rocco showing some nice personality, and a smile came to my face a few times while watching it. The only problem with it is that the transfer is a bit messed up just like in the original scene and the picture is squished a little bit leaving black bars on the left and right side of the picture despite it being in the full frame format. This is a nice little addition to the overall DVD, and I can only wish that it had included a few of the other girls as well as a better transfer.

Currently, most of Naughty America’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $27 with most stores offering them under $20. The low end is a good price for what you get here. The scenes are fairly simple and straightforward, but also work due to a great sense of familiarity and chemistry. The technical aspects are okay due to some of the scenes being a bit squished in their appearance, but there is a touch of effort put into the extras. This is a nice movie on a DVD That could use a touch more effort towards the technical aspects.

Note to Naughty America: It's nice to see you putting a little effort towards a behind the scenes featurette. I hope these aren't too rare.
