The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects leave a bit to be desired. The audio is okay, but it’s a bit quiet and has a little hiss. It also gets a bit scratchy when Jenna gets screaming. The video also leaves some to be desired. It’s nicely lit, but there’s some noticeable pixelation that definitely interferes.

Music: None

Disc Problems: During the Cum! segment of fingering Jenna, the video freezes for the last few seconds while the audio keeps going. It then moves to the Cum! sequence for Jenna fucking herself with a dildo.

Watermark Warning: There’s a fairly large jenna haze jill kelly productions watermark in the lower left corner of the screen. I mention it because I know some people really hate them, but I thought it was very tame and easy to phase out.

Menus: The main menu is very simple, and lets you choose what part of the movie you want to go to with a still of Jenna in the background.

The Feature

Cute little brunette Jenna Haze started getting attention long before she ever signed a contract with Jill Kelly Productions. Tons of raincoater fanboys still start drooling at the mere mention of the scenes Jenna did with Jules Jordan. Here, they get the chance to fantasize about having Jenna all to themselves.

For action, Jenna gives you most of the usual choices. If you want, she’ll tease you with her tits, pussy, or ass. She’ll also play with her pussy using a dildo, a vibrator or her fingers or let you work on her pussy using the vibe, your tongue, or your fingers. Of course Jenna doesn’t want you to feel neglected, so she’ll suck your cock or let you fuck her in missionary, doggie or either cowgirl.

Jenna does a very nice job through all of it. She nicely varies her energy and vocal to match the nice and naughty moods, and there’s plenty of those words that one doesn’t associate with JKP shouted out with the nasty mood. You also get two real camera angles for all of it, although there is a little camera shake now and then. Jenna does a very good job playing to the interactive side of the DVD.

Cumshots always get a lot of notice in virtual sex releases, with some companies using all real pops, some using fake wet pops, and some animating them. Here, most of the pops are animated, but there is a real pop on Jenna’s ass for the doggie pop. There’s also a possibility of Jenna swallowing down all of the load from the blowjob. For the most part, the pop shots are a disappointment.

The virtual mechanism for My Sex Kitten leaves most everything to be desired. To start with, the movie is broken apart into tease, masturbation, foreplay, and sex, and you can’t go from one section to another without going through the main menu. Also, the longest segment in the entire DVD is 68 seconds, with many of the sex segments running as little as 30 seconds and many cum sequences running only twenty four or twenty five seconds. When the segments loop they go back to the very beginning. It often cuts Jenna off in mid scream, goes from her being fucked with something to having it out of her and just about to begin, or from a partially naked Jenna back to a fully dressed Jenna. Little things like this made this seem more like a virtual sex joke than anything.

My Sex Kitten leaves plenty to be desired as a virtual sex release. Jenna does a fantastic job, but the sequences are so short and the looping so simple that every time the scene gets going the mood is ruined by it restarting. The menus are also so basic that it seems like you’re constantly going back to the main menu to go somewhere else and only one pop shot felt real. Jenna Haze has a lot of interactive virtual sex potential, and hopefully Jill Kelly Productions finds somebody who can harness it for the force of good in the future.

The Extra Stuff

There’s credits, a behind the scenes featurette, and a photo gallery that lasts about a minute with roughly ten seconds per very nice looking snapshot. The behind the scenes featurette lasts about seven and a half minutes. You get to see a little of Jenna shooting the movie, but most of the movie revolves around an interview. She talks about getting into the business, the downside of being an adult star, music, and video games. She even talks about her perfect date, her love for JKP, and her website. It’s a nice little interview, but not much of a behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, My Sex Kitten can be found online for between about $15 and $30, with stores offering it all over the place. Make sure and rent this one before you buy it. Jenna does a great job, but the virtual part is so poor that I can’t see it having too much replay value. The technical aspects also leave plenty to be desired, but there is a little effort put into the extras.

Note to Jill Kelly Productions: It’s easy to see why you wanted to do an interactive release with Jenna, but in the future please find somebody who can do a decent job with interactive DVDs rather than the joke that is Sin-Tec Labs.
