Blu-Ray vs. DVD: As usual with Digital Playground, the Blu-Ray has the same content as the DVD with higher quality technical aspects as well as a couple minor changes. The most noticeable change is the menus, which is a change I really like, but there are also fourteen trailers instead of eight.

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects show the care one has come to expect from Digital Playground. The audio level is a bit on the low side, but is clear and very nicely balanced. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. There's a steady hand on the camera, solid lighting, and a clear picture.

The Movie: Jesse is a girl who seems to have it all. Beauty, brains, and a willingness to do what she can to help others through tutoring. When Erik takes a break from the homework she assigned him, he learns that she also had a background as a pornstar. As usual, secrets like that never stay hidden long.

My Private Tutor is a decent little fuck flick. No, there's not much of a plot, and that's really a shame because the setup here has the potential to make this one a lot more fun. Instead what could be a decent story rests completely in the background and seems all but forgotten. Thankfully the sex is solid, which is no surprise with the cast that's involved here. Jesse Jane is as smoking hot and fantastic as always, and Brooklyn Lee turns out a great pairing with Manuel. Abigaile Johnson starts the movie on a high note, and Pressley Carter also turns out a very nice scene. The action is always very couples friendly, and I'll admit that I was a little disappointed to not see Jesse and Brooklyn hook up or to have Brooklyn take it in the ass with them playing porn stars in the movie. My Private Tutor has some solid sex to keep it a worthwhile rental (or purchase for Jesse Jane fans), but at the same time I couldn't help but be a little disappointed with how a story that could have been a lot of fun was all but ignored.

The Extras: Trailers are included for eight other Digital Playground releases. The photo gallery lasts about four and a half minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette and company information.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about fourteen minutes. Things start out with a few flashes around the set including a little fun with Mini-Robby D. Jesse chats about how surprised she is to be in the business with a few shots of her in action mixed in. Abigail and Pressley each share a few words with Jamal having plenty of fun chatting with Pressley. Brooklyn talks about coming back after a little break and shooting fun softcore with a few fun moments with Jesse mixed in. This is a nice little behind the scenes featurette. You get some solid eye candy and fun with the cast to make this a nice behind the scenes featurette. It's nearly twice the length of the Digital Playground BTS featurette I'm used to, and the extra time is definitely well spent. This is a nice addition to the overall DVD.

Final Thoughts: If you're a Jesse Jane fan it's probably worth the purchase, and for others its still a solid rental

Note to Digital Playground: You've done a nice job with your lighter features, but if you're going to try to give a release like this a little story, please make use of it rather than mentioning it and then all but dropping it.
