Audio /Video Quality:
As usual with Jacky St. James' movies, there's very nice effort put into the technical aspects. The audio is clear and well balanced for the most part, but there is a little of Natalia's scene that seems a little quite towards the end. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and just as good. The picture is clear with just a touch of softness and nice care towards the lighting. The final scene seems a touch dark at times with some of the shadows, but at the same time it seems like it might have been done intentionally for a bit of mood lighting.
Watermark Warning:
Although I don't know of anybody who likes watermarks, I can understand companies wanting to take some kind of action to protect themselves with how much piracy occurs in today's world. As I know some don't agree with this thought, I will note that there is a tasteful watermark in the lower right corner that's so light that I barely noticed it through much of the movie unless the memory of it popped into my head and I looked to see if it was still there. If one has to do a watermark, this is definitely the way to do it.

The action is also nicely even from start to finish with no scene really towering over or falling far behind the others. I love the grudge fuck aspect of Romi and Van's scene as well as the romance of Alison and Chad's. Natalia and Chad have a nice sense of fun, and the emotions behind Karla and Tyler's scene are every bit as solid. My New Hot Stepmother is a darn hot release that's well worth the purchase for anyone who's even the least bit turned on by the concept.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts a few seconds short of twenty six minutes. As always Jacky has great chemistry with her cast, and talks about their roles in the movie compared to real life, finding them online, and much more. Karla and Tyler start out talking about how much fun they had, Karla looking forward to working with Tyler, Tyler not being that sexually driven yet ending up in the industry, and Karla's move into the adult industry. Romi and Van talk about sex and maturity, as well as some of the intensity of their scene. Natalia talks about her boobs, mail order brides, and her Polish background. Alison and Chad talk about her boobs and bra as well as plenty about taboo relationships. This is a very nice featurette and a great addition to the overall release.
