The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I don't think I noticed a single audio problem. The video is presented in the full frame format, and also looks quite nice. The camera work is smooth, and the action barley has any grain and is nicely lit.

Disc Complaints: The authoring is a bit funky, which doesn't seem to be anything too unusual with Naughty America. Rather than having the entire movie on a title that makes it easy for viewers to skip to where ever they choose in the movie, which is extremely nice if you get tired of a scene and just want to jump ahead randomly or if you're viewing the movie later and want to go to a specific point in the movie, each scene has its own title (similar to how some studios run their TV shows on DVD). I guess I can understand this being as Naughty America seems to work their internet content a little like TV series, but for a DVD it makes it extremely klunky to navigate. Hopefully they'll work on releasing their movies in a more standard format in the future, but I've been hoping that for quite a while.

Menus: The main menu is extremely basic and generic, and just gives the title, selections, and a photo of the cast. The chapter menu is much nicer, and actually lets you choose a scene based on a still of the girl(s) in each scene and their name(s). Once you choose a girl, you're given a secondary menu that lets you choose where you'd like to go sexually.

Naughty America is well known for their internet content, and has had many long running series. My Friend’s Hot Mom 7 continues to collect one of those series on DVD. The title lets you know just what you get, as MILFs take on friends of their college age sons.

There's often a touch of cheesiness to the setups, but there's also a fun feeling and chemistry that helps it to not get bogged down in the cheesiness. I think Kat and Harley's scene with Jeremy might be my favorite, but Bethany and TJ's scenes were very close behind it. Kristine's scene was probably the weakest to me, but even then the scene came in slightly above average. Although I enjoyed the movie, it did have some noticeable weaknesses. First is that the sex is way too structured, with each scene going from chatting to a blowjob to pussy eating to three positions (which almost always include spooning, missionary, and / or reverse cowgirl) to a pop (that's almost always done in POV). It would have been great to see the sex get mixed up a bit with a pop that wasn't always a facial or to mix up the oral and fucking a bit. I can understand this working with the internet structure and basis Naughty America has, but with DVD when you have about five scenes together on a DVD the similarities between scenes can stand out quite a bit. My Friend's Hot Mom 7 has some noticeable weaknesses, but is still an enjoyable release.

Currently, most of Naughty America’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $27 with most stores offering them under $20. If you're a fan of older women, this one's probably worth the money. The sex is pretty hot and there's a nice feeling to it. The technical aspects also show some good care, but the DVD as a whole is held back as there's virtually no effort put into the extras. This is a nice movie that shows good effort, but the overall DVD lacks due to Naughty America not caring about extras.

Note to Naughty America: You have some great scenes, but a little more effort towards the overall DVD would go a long way. I've heard from several people that you're one of the kinds of internet content and might shoot more footage than anybody else in porn valley. Show it off a little by including something like a bonus scene! You should easily be able to draw people over into Diary of a MILF or Housewife 1 on 1 with a bonus scene. Also, is it really that hard of work to credit the guys in the movie too? Including them in the chapter menu or the sex scene breakdown menu would be great, as would including a cast listing by scene somewhere on the DVD. You have some great scenes, but please put some effort into your overall DVDs too!
