The Short Story

Initial Expectations: There's a certain charm about Naughty America's scenes that always make me want to have a bit of hope for them. Unfortunately, Naughty America puts a little less effort into their DVDs than most homeless people put into personal hygiene. For that reason, I just can't expect much here.

Initial Reaction: How did that old saying go? “Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.”? Maybe that should be changed to “Those who can't, go to work for Naughty America.”.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a DVD that feels like some care went into it or a lot of variety to the action

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is pretty well balanced, but some of the setup dialogue is hard to hear and there are a few very minor background noises. The video is presented in the full frame format, but has some very noticeable pixelation. The camera work is pretty smooth, but also very basic.

Disc Complaints: The authoring is a bit funky, which doesn't seem to be anything too unusual with Naughty America. Rather than having the entire movie on a title that makes it easy for viewers to skip to where ever they choose in the movie, which is extremely nice if you get tired of a scene and just want to jump ahead randomly or if you're viewing the movie later and want to go to a specific point in the movie, each scene has its own title, similar to how some studios run their TV shows on DVD. Needless to say, this makes the DVD extremely hard to navigate. At one point I had hopes of them improving their authoring, but since they haven't done anything in the year and a half or so I've been checking them out it doesn't look like they care about their DVDs that much.

Menus: The main menu is very unremarkable and just gives a still with each of the girls and the choices. The chapter menu is pretty good, and lets you choose a scene based on a still of each scene with the name(s) of the girl(s) in the scene.

The Feature

After establishing themselves as one of the major forces in on-line porn, Naughty America has branched out by collecting their scenes on DVD. The My First Sex Teacher series focuses on teachers and their students. Maybe a student needs a little extra help, or maybe they just catch the teacher in the right mood. One never knows.

Scene 1 – TJ Hart and Derrick Pierce

This scene might nose just past the average mark, but it doesn't get much further than that.

Scene 2 – Jaylie Zane and Mike

Mike lets good looking golden haired Jaylie know that he's there to help her, and she lets him know that she's more than a little stressed with just moving up to the four year college from junior college. She's a bit surprised when he mentions that some of his duties end up being massaging and fucking the teachers, and after getting past her initial shock decides to test his massage skills. Scene 4 – Christie Lee, Selena Steele, and Matt Bixel

After laying into her about some of her extra activities with her students, a guy suggests that maybe hot brunette Selena should share some of her students with him. The setup is kinda fun, and all three of them play into it nicely with some nice chemistry coming out through the scene. This is a pretty good scene.

Scene 5 – Mika Tan and a guy

After letting one of her students know some of what me missed in her class, Oriental hottie Mike gives him the choice between a lot of work, studying, and a test or fucking her. Sadly, the guy doesn't bring anything to the scene, and the camera often feels like it's trying to avoid him (which is the most work it's done throughout the entire movie). The scene also felt overly long once again and seemed like five minutes could have probably been cut out that would only strengthen the scene. Mika does a nice job here, but everything else about the scene holds it back so it barely makes it past the average level.

My First Sex Teacher 9 is a pretty average movie. The setups are fairly generic, and although there used to be a little effort put into them here and there with some of the past installments here it just isn't there. The sex is also very average with camera work and editing that never seem too taken with the action. I think Christie Lee and Selena Steele's scene with Matt Bixel was by far the best in the movie, but it and Mika's scene were the only ones that really made it past the average mark for me. The rest of them seemed generic and drawn out, which just drew more attention to the lack of care put into the rest of the DVD. My First Sex Teacher 9 doesn't quite make the grade.

The Extra Stuff

As usual, the only thing close to being considered an extra is the sad screen listing the different series Naughty America puts out on the web. With how little care they put into their DVDs, I honestly can't see why anybody would expect them to give them anything with a monthly membership.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Naughty America’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $27 with most stores offering them under $20. Rent this one first or aim low. The sex isn't bad, but it's far from special and comes off being overly long and more than a little generic. The technical aspects are weak thanks to noticeably pixelated video while the rest of the DVD looks like it might have been authored by one of the losing teams from the Special Olympics. This DVD might be best passed by.

Note to Naughty America: From the looks of your DVDs over time it looks like you don't really want to put them out. If that's the case, please stop putting them out. If that's not the case, then please get off your dead asses and put a little effort into them.
