The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio balance varies a bit throughout the movie, and there are also a few minor background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks okay. The lighting is well handled and the picture is free of grain, but there is a bit of noticeable camera motion.

Menus: The main menu blends a cheesy looking still with a few clips from the movie for a slightly below average first impression. The chapter menu shows some nice care and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the mutha in it.

The Feature

Start with some white women who are past their fortieth birthday. Now add a handful of black dudes. Throw in a few moments of plot to set things up, and voila! You've got Muthas Who Luv Brothas.

Bottle blonde Jennifer wishes her hubby goodbye letting him know that she'll have dinner ready when he returns before he leaves. This is a hot and fun scene that worked very well for me.

Muthas Who Luv Brothas is an okay interracial MILF movie. There's a bit of effort put into the setups to try to make things a bit of fun and add a little variety to the movie, but most of it is very generic. Barbie Page, Lake Russel, and Cameron Keys did a nice job in each of their scenes, but there's nothing really special or outstanding about any scene here and they barely edge out Ophelia and Jennifer. The entire movie has a simple and straightforward approach and knows that it just wants to have some black guys banging chicks who are well over forty. I enjoy older women and their experience, but there's nothing about this release that's going to draw anybody in to give it a try unless they're into older women taking on black guys. Muthas Who Luv Brothas is a pretty average release.

Currently, many of Score's DVDs can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with quite a few stores offering them for under $20. I'd aim low here. The movie and technical aspects are both pretty average and the extras don't show any effort and knock the overall DVD back a notch because of it. If you're jonesing for MILFs banging brothers you can probably do worse than this one, but there's nothing too special about it otherwise.

Note to Score: A little effort towards the extras and giving the guys credit would be a nice touch for your DVDs.
