Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are every bit as well done as one has come to expect from Digital Sin. The audio is clear and well balanced and I didn't notice anything remotely close to a background noise. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. There's a touch of softness that works very well for the movie as well as very nice care put into the lighting and camera work. This release looks every bit as good as most mainstream things I watch.
Watermark Warning:
As usual with Digital Sin, there's a small tasteful watermark in the lower right corner. I know some people hate watermarks with a passion, which is why I mention it here, but this one is small, static, and very easy to put out of one's mind. If a company thinks a watermark helps them protect what's there against piracy, it's hard to do it as well as Digital Sin does here.

A Mother Daughter Thing is yet another winner in Jacky St. James' line of very solid releases. The whole taboo thought of sex among broken families and step-siblings or step-parents really doesn't to a lot for me in general, but Jacky St. James always gives each scene such a great lead-in that I can't help but be drawn into each scene. There's solid acting to lead into each tale, and once again Gabrielle Anex's editing makes it work all the better. The sex is just as solid, and there isn't anything even close to a weak moment in the movie. I love Dani's catching Elexis masturbating at the memory of their forbidden affair only to get things going again, as well as the fun of Sara urging Ariella on without realizing it due to their language barrier. The best friends theme between Adriana and Dana is extremely well done, and the grudge match between Dakota and Julia Ann is more than hot. Sexually the action is a bit limited on paper due to not having any toys or anal action (although there is a little rimming), but it never comes close to holding the movie back due to the fantastic chemistry through the entire cast. From start to finish, A Mother Daughter Thing is a fantastic twisted lesbian release that's well worth the purchase.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty eight and a half minutes. Dana and Adriana start out chatting about the most taboo things they've ever done and the taboo of steps. Ariel and Sara start their chat talking about speaking Spanish before chatting about a language barrier when you're attracted to somebody. They also chat about taboo and step sex and how to find them online. Elexis and Dani chat about how long they've wanted to work together and their sexual likes while also flirting and fooling around a little. They chat about where to find them online before Julia and Dakota chat about their first time working together and the step aspect. Finally they let fans know how to find them online. This is a great behind the scenes featurette, which is no surprise with Jacky St. James interviewing her stars. You get plenty of personality from the ladies, as well as a few laughs and a few “whoah!” moments. This is a very nice addition to the overall release.
Final Thoughts:
It's well worth the purchase, which is nothing unusual for Jacky St. James.
