Mortal Cumbat is Adam Christopher's previous movie The Game of Sex retitled and somewhat re-edited and marketed as a new movie. As to exactly how much as been re-edited, this reviewer can't say since he doesn't remember the entire original movie. This time around, Mortal Cumbat has been set-up as Mortal Kombat matches that are actually just sex scenes.

The beginning of each sex scene gives you the match-up for the sex scene like you and your opponent are selecting the fighters in the game Mortal Kombat. In the original format of The Game of Sex, the pairings were mash-ups from the Mortal Kombat world, the Quentin Tarantino universe, and Kung Fu films. Since Mortal Cumbat is just a re-edit of the footage that Adam Christopher shot for The Game of Sex, the costuming is still that for the mash-ups of the original.

Mortal Cumbat is an all-sex movie, not really a parody of the game since it is just a sequence of four scenes (there are supposed to be five scenes, but one was cut from the edition this reviewer saw) and doesn't attempt to give the viewer the story mode of any of the Mortal Kombat games. The four sex scenes don't have any plotting or non-sexual footage of any sort.

The set-ups for each scene are as follows; the first up is Stroker (Dominik Kross) against Slutya (Pamela Balian). In The Game of Sex, Dominik Kross was Jack Burten and Pamela Balian was Sonya B. The second match is Jax-Off (Chris Cock) against Slutpin (Laela Pryce). In The Game of Sex, Chris Cock was Hakeem and Laela Pryce was The Bride. The third battle is Loo Cum (Adam Christopher) versus Cuntana (Sheena Ryder). In The Game of Sex, Adam Christopher was Broose Lee and Sheena Ryder was Kittana. The final match has Loo Cum against Mileeanal (Gaia). In The Game of Sex, Gaia played Lucy Loo.

The original version of the movie had a fifth scene with Dominick Flynt and Angelina Chung, which was missing from the version this reviewer saw, although their images are still present on the character select screen that the viewer sees.

The sex scenes aren't bad. There is a lot of gagging on cocks during the sex scenes, so if that is your thing, the heat of the sex scenes will obviously be higher. The participants all seem to be enjoying themselves through each scene. The editing for the scenes could have been a little tighter as they are a little on the long side. Overall, the sex scenes are fun to watch.

The technical details in the movie are lacking. The entire movie takes place in one room, likely a hotel room by the looks of it, with the same cheap dressing on it. Plastic can be seen on the floor. There is a definite lack of camera angles within the movie and editing as well.

Despite the cheapness of the set, the movie isn't lousy sex-wise. Anyone actually hoping for a parody will be sorely disappointed. However, for viewers looking for an all-sex movie, Mortal Cumbat is decent and might be worth a look. This reviewer would recommend renting before buying, though.

The edition of Mortal Cumbat reviewed is the streaming-only version available from Nerds of Porn. The version reviewed is a cut version, which contains different scenes than the streaming version that is available on Adult Empire. The original edition of Mortal Cumbat, which had a run time of 84 minutes, had an additional sex scene with Dominick Flynt and Angelina Chung.

Mortal Cumbat is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 1080p. The image looks good with good color reproduction and no noticeable blemishes during the presentation. There is a Nerds of Porn bug in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

Mortal Cumbat is presented with an English Stereo audio track, which works fine for the material being presented. Aside from some minor distortion, there doesn't appear to be any issues with the audio that aren't that way due to the original audio master tracks.

Nerds of Porn hasn't included any extras for the release.

Mortal Cumbat appears at first to be a parody of Mortal Kombat; however, in reality, it is not. The movie was released previously under the name The Game of Sex is slightly reedited for its new incarnation as Mortal Cumbat. The movie is an all sex adult movie that has a few brief seconds of parody attempts but not one bit of plot. As far as the movie goes as an all sex venture, it falls about average. The technical details are a little lacking; however, the sex scenes are enjoyable.
