Initial Expectations: It's been a while since I've checked out any of Mr. Pete's work from behind the camera. I've heard some good things about it, and with Lisa Ann on the cover of this one I just can't resist it.

Initial Reaction: Although it often ignores the thought of the woman being in control that the title puts out, it's still a pretty darn hot movie.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is pretty clear and nicely balanced, although there are some areas which are a little soft and hard to hear. The video is presented in the full frame format, and shows some nice care. The lighting is very well done, but there is a hint of grain to some of the movie. The camera work is nicely done, and although there is a fair amount of motion it never draws too much attention to itself.

Music: There's a little music to start out Elle Cee's scene, but that's it.

Menus: The main menu works from a few clips from the action into a still of the boxcover with a little simple animation added. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene as well as the hot momma in it.

The Feature

Momma Knows Best lets Mr. Pete focus on older women. Most times he brings a little story to the scenes, but sometimes he cuts it short and gets right to the action.

Momma Knows Best is a pretty hot MILF movie. Although he can be a little on the intense side, he also normally does it with a nice feeling of passion, and that feeling runs nicely throughout the movie. There isn't a bad scene here, but I think Kristal Summers impressed me the most here with Elle Cee and Lisa Ann coming in close behind her. Although there isn't a bad scene here, I was a little surprised with some of the feelings in the scenes. With a title like Momma Knows Best, I expected this to be a movie with the women instigating the action and maybe taking a little control. There was a little of this, but also a couple scenes where the women seemed completely submissive and that really stood out for me. I know this won't matter to a lot of people, but for those of us who like movies with dominant women now and then it did to me. Momma Knows Best is a hot MILF movie that shows some nice talent behind the camera for Mr. Pete.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about three and three quarter minutes with about six seconds per decent looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also cumshot recaps and a behind the scenes featurette.

Currently, many of Red Light District's DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with several stores offering them for under $20. If you're a fan of older women, this one's probably going to be well worth the money. The sex is hot and there's a nice variety to the action. The technical aspects show some very nice care, and the extras give you some nice personality as well as a little more action. This is a nicely put together DVD.

Note to Red Light District: It's nice to see you putting the effort you are into your overall DVD. You might want to split the extra sex scenes like Vanessa had apart from the behind the scenes featurette, as it makes your overall release look a little bigger as well as letting people find what they want on the DVD easier.
