Review:
It's a sad life for Michael J. Cox, a young man who spends his time cruising Venice Beach looking for ladies, obsessing about a "girlfriend" (Leslie Glass) who won't let him into her pants, and paying for hookers, and it's unclear as to whether there will ever be a happy ending for the young lad. Such is the case in "The Moment", an overall-good 1997 release from Vivid Video and Ralph Parfait. While the storyline is decent enough, and so is the sex, the real draw of this release is its female lead, the stunningly beautiful Leslie Glass. Leslie was a Vivid Girl for a short time, a Penthouse Pet (including earning Pet of the Year Runner-Up honors), an acclaimed ring-card girl, and even a bartender at Baltimore's notorious rock club, Hammerjack's, that was the home of famed bands like KIX. She also founded a charitable organization helping animals in need, Pet-4-Pets. With all of this, it's clear that Leslie was as awesome of a person as she was a model and performer, and it's a true shame that she ultimately succumbed to cancer at a very young age. Indeed, it was 15 years ago this month that the lovely Ms. Glass was taken from this mortal world, and her fans still remember her dearly. With that, consider this review a tribute to her life and career, both of which should not soon be forgotten.
In terms of the sex, Scene One pairs up AVN Hall of Famer, Ruby, with her sports-obsessed john, Michael J. Cox, on the sofa in his apartment. It doesn't take her long to distract him from the television once she sits up on the back of the couch behind his head, however...all sans panties. A steamy oral and vaginal affair then unfolds and ultimately culminates in a cum-shot on Ruby's open ass-crack. Good stuff.
In Scene Two, Jamie Leigh and Deva Station head home from the beach and get it on in front of an open window. Joining them there is Leslie Glass, who's an eager carpet muncher herself. A pair of vibrators also come into play, and fairly standard girl-on-girl action ensues. This one is okay.
Scene Three finds Michael J. Cox taking care of business with two blonde beach bunnies, Toni James and Jamie Leigh, in the same bedroom as the prior sequence. Toni keeps her roller skates on--which is super-hot--and Michael gives them both a good dicking. The good times ultimately come to a close with Jamie riding him until he can take no more, and Toni jerking him off on Jamie's ass-crack. Ms. James then cleans up the mess orally. Hot!
In Scene Four, Ryan O--whose shtick for snaring babes is to cry at the beach and elicit their sympathies--manages to get the lovely Leslie Glass into the sack, all in front of her ex-boyfriend, Michael J. Cox. Leslie only worked with Ryan, her husband, (...and girls, of course...) in her career and the chemistry between the two is palpable. A super-steamy, multi-positioned, oral and vaginal affair follows and eventually closes out with a facial and some oral cock clean-off. Smokin'!
Scene Five finds Michael J. Cox crying his way into Randi Rage's bikini bottoms, as his lamentations over Leslie have him unintentionally mimicking Ryan's game at the beach. Randi knows just the cure for his blues, of course, and it involves her pussy. A sexy and enthusiastic fucking follows, with the festivities finishing off with a pop on the raunchy Ms. Rage's tits. Nice!
In all, this is an overall-good release that's notable for being one of only a small number of films featuring the beautiful Leslie Glass and, to be sure, one of only a tinier handful in which she partakes in a boy-girl sequence. With Leslie having passed on 15 years ago to the month, this release serves as a good starting point for those of the younger generation to acquaint themselves with her career and also as a good reminder of how excellent she was for existing fans. RIP, Leslie. You were awesome and will always be missed.
