Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is decently balanced and clear, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is shot in 4K and presented in anamorphic widescreen. It looks pretty good, but not as clear as I'd expect for 4K, and is nicely lit with a solid hand on the camera.
Watermark Warning:
I don't know of anyone who likes watermarks, but if a studio feels it's what they must do to protect themselves I'm not going to slam them because of it. Here BangBros uses a medium sized and noticeable watermark that rests in the lower right corner. It's not horrible to put out of one's mind as it is stationary, but it is a bit bright and definitely does stand out much more than I like. If one needs a watermark, this one isn't horrible, but it would be much nicer if it were a bit lighter. The problem with this release is completely in BangBros' presentation, which unfortunately seems to be standard operating procedure for BangBros. It touts being shot in 4K, but the presentation seemed pretty average and not up to the same level as what I see from a lot of other companies (without knowing if they're shooting in 4K or not). The bigger problem is their anti-piracy efforts. The watermark in the corner is on the large and bright side, and although I'd like to see something less intrusive I can live with it. Having a watermark scroll across the middle of the action once it gets going is far beyond annoying, and adding a voiceover later makes it all the worse. I hate internet piracy and what it's doing to the industry, but with what BangBros is doing here I really don't care if the pirates target them or if BangBros.com loses a ton of money to them. Their cure is worse than the disease, and because of it I can't recommend that anyone shells out their hard earned money to support them. Lose the scrolling watermark and voiceover and I'd be easily recommending Mom is Horny as a purchase, but not with how it's currently presented as BangBros is doing a disservice to both their performers as well as their viewers. Mom is Horny is a darn hot release, but not one I can recommend anyone paying for due to how BangBros' overly exuberant efforts against internet piracy interfere with every one of the scenes on the DVD.
