The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced without any background noises to interfere with the action. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. There's some very nice use of lighting and color, including a little black and white and sepia toned footage mixed in for the tease openings.

Music: The music is exceptionally well done. Each opening starts with some very sexy jazz and big band music that seems perfect for the scene before it breaks into modern styles that still work with the openings, the sex, and the original musical style. The balance is also very nice, and goes from being the only audio to being very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu nicely blends a bit of the boxcover with a clip from the movie and a little music for a surprisingly good first impression. The chapter menu, however, is very generic and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature

Brad Armstrong returns to the dark side of the late twenties and thirties with this sequel. Gangsters and gamblers, judges and G-men (and G-women), cops, robbers, and more set up the vignettes here without any plot ever rearing its head to get in the way.

After Kris snaps a few photos of a crime scene with beat cop Randy and cop jessica, who's very well dressed in a pinstripe suit, a purple tie, and a fedora, the guys start groping jessica with her returning the favor along with a few kisses as she helps them strip down so she can start sucking her way between their cocks. jessica opens her shirt to reveal a sexy purple and black corset and lets Randy fuck her bow and arrow style while she continues to suck and stroke Kris. Kirsten has impressed me in the past, but this is easily one of the best scenes I've seen from her and one of my favorite scenes in the movie.

Here, however, there's great chemistry all around and enough switching between the groups that nothing ever seemed like it was being lost. The cast looks great and puts out some great energy with jessica standing out nicely in the group getting nasty with her toys. This is a fantastic final scene.

Mobster's Ball 2 is a great adult sequel. All of the things Brad Armstrong did right the first time around he does here again, so you get plenty of great style, classy outfits, and hot sex with the cast having great chemistry all around. Not only does it do things right again, but it also does things extremely consistently so that it's very hard to pick a favorite scene. I do think Kaylani's threesome was a touch off just due to the chemistry not being there right away, but it picked up nicely as the scene went on to come close to holding its own against the others to come in at the end. On the top end, although I'd have a hard time picking a favorite scene I can say that the final orgy scene might have impressed me the most just by not losing the chemistry or flow with a group that size and all of the action it had and that Kirsten Price also turned out perhaps the hottest scene I've seen from her with her shoeshine girl scene. Mobster's Ball 2 is a great sequel that shows just how well art and sex can work together.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about five minutes with about seven seconds per very nice looking snapshot. There's also weblinks, a behind the scenes featurette, a bonus scene, and some of the usual Wicked extras.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty minutes. Brad starts out showing his new tool kit to get things done before Mikayla chats about her scene and the movie. Kaylani has a nice and fun chat before working with Brad for the scene and shooting it. jessica shows off plenty of personality talking about being a little out of it because she's only there to fuck rather than doing tons of other things and shows off some of her plumage before they shoot the orgy scene. jessica also gets a little help preparing for the opening scene along with a few words before shooting the scene and things move on with Kirsten talking about how she was supposed to be in the first movie before a little fun with Brad and shooting the scene. Alektra is next who has a few comments before getting it on with Brad. This was a nice behind the scenes featurette. Jax is doing a pretty good job behind the camera, and is picking things up very well from what I remember from him in previous BTS featurettes. He's having a nice connection with the cast and is bringing out some very nice personality from them as well as capturing some nice eye candy. This is a nice behind the scenes featurette that's worth checking out.

The bonus scene comes from the original Mobster's Ball. After another successful mob hit, Brad gets it on with girls jessica and Jasmine with all of them dressed to the max. Brad Armstrong does a great job blending style and sexuality with great results and the sex is nicely consistent through the movie. The technical aspects are very well done and there's some nice effort put into the extras as well. This is a very nice release that's well worth checking out.
