Initial Expectations: For some reason, this one worries me a little.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants substance to go with their style

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is dominated by voiceovers and heavy music, but there is a little audio from the performers and no noticeable background noises. The video is presented in the full frame format and a bit on the artistic side. The lighting varies throughout the movie and there's a soft feel with a touch of grain to the video.

Music: The music is on the loud side. It has a kind of cool feel to start out with, but it's brought down by being repeated too often throughout the movie.

False Advertising: The boxcover lists a behind the scenes featurette among the extras, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the DVD. Gloria Tyler is also listed on the boxcover, but doesn't appear in the credits or the movie, as far as I can see. If that isn't enough, in the movie credits Bobbie Barron is credited both as Bobbie Barron, her “old” name and Swan, her “new” name, which makes the movie seem like it should be a little bigger than what it is. I'm deducting a full point from the overall score for these false claims.

Menus: The main menu is extremely basic, and just gives a still with the choices with a very generic look. The chapter menu is okay, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a title for the scene.

The Feature

Scene 1 - Bobbie Barron and Tex Sexton

Long haired blonde Bobbie starts her scene out in a red corset and black panties with black lace up dress boots. As soon as she's hypnotized things cut to Tex fucking her from behind as she leans against a mobile stairway. They move up the stairway as they fuck before taking to the floor for a cowgirl ride and a bit of missionary work. Finally, Bobbie sucks and strokes the guy until he pops on her face.

This scene didn't do a lot for me. At a little over fifteen minutes long it really seemed like several minutes could have been cut, and the low lighting in much of the scene did absolutely nothing for me. As for chemistry, I really didn't get any out of the scene. I guess this scene is about the mood as much as anything, and I certainly wasn't in the mood for it.

Scene 2 - Harley Rains and Roy L. Shaft

When big tittied brunette Harley gets hypnotized she fantasizes about Roy fucking her in what looks like a run down shed with corrugated iron walls. He fucks her from behind before letting her lie back to get fucked and have her pussy licked. Harley also gets up to ride Roy in both cowgirls before letting him take her from behind. Finally she opens wide for Roy to pop on her face with one drop before letting the rest dribble over his hand.

This scene also didn't do much for me. Harley does okay, but there's no real chemistry to the scene. Having two scenes in a row without a blowjob also hurt the scene, as did the rough camera work. I just couldn't get into this scene.

Scene 3 - Deja Blue and Roy L. Shaft

When Deja's hypnotized she's taken to a jungle where Roy's fucking her from behind as she wears some sexy red lingerie. They quickly move on with a cowgirl ride before she turns around to ride him in reverse cowgirl. They get in a bit of doggie as well before he strokes himself onto her mouth. They keep going with another reverse cowgirl ride and a little more doggie fucking before Deja finally wraps her mouth around his cock to suck him to another pop and play with the cum.

Not surprisingly, this scene didn't do a lot for me. I couldn't help but reach for the remote as soon as I saw the scene starting out in doggie. The camera work and editing were rough here too, but the scene helped itself out a little by having Deja suck a little cock at the end. The lack of cocksucking and oral really stands out in the scene as it starts out talking about Deja claiming to have an oral fixation. This is another average at best scene.

Scene 4 - Taylor St. Clair

Busty brunette Taylor starts her scene in thigh high black boots, a black skirt, and an animal print top. She touches herself little by little while teasing the camera with her pussy and tits before moving to a cart to lightly finger herself. She fucks herself with a small vibrator as well before the scene comes to an abrupt end.

This could have been a hot scene, but once again the style of the scene held it back. It's not just the rough camera work and editing here, but the pace of the scene. Taylor's a gorgeous girl and plays to the camera nicely. At the same time, it was so slow moving that I couldn't help but wonder if it was going to be a tease scene or a masturbation scene. The scene started out talking about how Taylor could only find pleasure with herself, but after a scene that barely had any oral action for a girl with an oral fixation it wouldn't have surprised me. This was a very disappointing scene.

Scene 5 - Shelbee Myne and John West

Shelbee starts out the final scene releasing John from the restraints that kept him in his chair. She shows that she either didn't read the matchbook with the script on it or wisely threw it away by getting up to ride John cowgirl style rather than letting him start the scene off fucking her from behind. They move on with a bit of doggie and cowgirl fucking before Shelbee sucks and strokes John with a smile to a pop on her tits.

This is yet another okay at best scene. I was thrilled to see the sex start out somewhere other than in doggie and for Shelbee to get in a little cocksucking before the pop, but that's it that stuck out positively in the scene for me. Beyond that, it was slow moving, overly artsy, and boring. This scene finished out the movie on the same low note that flowed through the entire movie.

Mind Games did very little for me. The idea of using hypnosis to explore women's sexual thoughts is a fairly cliched one, but one that allows a lot of freedom and can be done right. Sadly, Adriane Gold didn't really do it right by focusing on some heavy artistic effects and audio that were much more annoying than they were sexy. The sex also left plenty to be desired, with barely any blowjobs in the entire movie, overly long sex scenes, and scenes that felt redundant due to a lack of positions or mixing things up. Mind Games made me glad I had a remote control.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about two minute with roughly six seconds per slightly below average framed screen capture. Bios are included for Deja Blew, Swan, Taylor St. Clair, Harley Raine, and Shelbee Mybe which include a little personal information, a couple photos, and a fun little interview.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Legend DVDs can be found online for between about $8 and $20, with a few stores offering them at the low end. Even the low end seems like too much here. The movie is boring and annoying and the technical aspects are pretty average. There's a touch of effort put into the extras, but nowhere close to what the cover claims. This DVD might be better off as a coaster.
