The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Gangbangs aren't normally my thing, so I'm not quite sure why I'm checking this one out.

Initial Reaction: There's some good effort put into the behind the scenes featurette, but the main feature seems to be more of a clusterfuck than a gangbang.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is fairly clear and well balanced, with no major background noises standing out that you wouldn't normally find in a gangbang release. The video is presented in the full frame format and doesn't quite make it to the average level. It's lit okay, but there's a hint of grain and it's not unusual for the cameras or even the cameramen to clearly come into view.

Music: There's a little music here and there. It's fairly well balanced with the rest of the audio, but only gives the movie a slightly cheesy feeling rather than adding to it.

Menus: The main menu blends a few clips from the movie with a little annoying animation for an okay first impression. There is no chapter menu.

The Feature

If Mexican Anal Gangbang makes it to the average mark, it just barely makes it. Jennifer does a nice job taking on the guys, but with the action going on for an entire hour with the guys just moving in and out fucking her holes, it quickly falls into a rut. Yes, Jennifer looks into it, but the majority of the action seems to be in missionary and you don't have the progression here that you do with many gangbangs where the girl goes from sucking her way around the guys to pussy fucking to ass fucking to (if lucky) double penetrations. Instead you get a little cocksucking and then a clusterfuck of guys fucking their way between her holes. There's never a feeling of wood problems getting in the way, but none of the guys ever really bring anything to the scenes either. Instead they just feel like guys pulled off the street who have a decent idea what they're doing. Jennifer Steele has some nice enthusiasm for her Mexican Anal Gangbang, but there's nothing outside of that to make it that memorable.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery almost two and three quarter minutes with about five seconds per good looking snapshot or full screen photo. There's also website information, a behind the scenes featurette, and phone sex crap.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts a little over forty minutes. Jennifer starts out talking with the guys about how she wants the sex to go so that she doesn't get completely worn out. She also talks about a 'wristband situation' and how the first guy to not honor it is going to ruin it for everybody as well as how she ended up with the guys for the movie. From then on it's about thirty five minutes of the action behind shot, and many times works multiple cameras together in a split screen format. This was a very nice touch and helped the featurette rise above all the other behind the scenes featurettes which just show the action being shot. You also get a little a little bit of the aftermath, stills being shot, and interviews with some of the guys mixed in where you learn how far some guys came just to fuck Jennifer. This is a nicely done behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Heatwave's DVDs can be found online for between about $10 and $25 with a few stores offering them at the low end. If you like the idea of a Mexican anal gangbang, the low end might not be too bad. The action doesn't seem at all organized and falls into a bit of a rut because of it. The technical aspects are pretty average, but there's some nice effort put into the extras with a long behind the scenes featurette with plenty more footage. This is a pretty average gangbang release.

Note to Heatwave: A little organization might be a good thing, and keeping the cameras out of the shots is definitely a good thing.
