Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are nothing short of excellent, and on par with any mainstream production out there. The audio shows great care and plays into the artistic style. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. It's well lit with just the right touch of softness.

Watermark Warning:
I don't know of anyone who likes watermarks, but if people think it helps them against piracy I guess I can live with them if they're done right and it seems like all internet scenes have them. Junk Productions does it okay here. It rests nicely in the lower right corner where it's easy to put out of one's mind but it is a little on the large side.

The Release:

Overall Melancholyis a hard title to review, as its darkness weighs over the entire scene and although I can say that it's very well done I can't exactly say that I enjoyed it. It's kind of like Leaving Las Vegas in that way, very well done but not exactly enjoyable or something I'd want to watch again.
