The prologue is presented in widescreen with a sepia tint giving that western feeling. Scott Bradley in cowboy hat is approached by his blond buddy Steven Hunter who asks Scott if he’s going to the fair. “Yup,” Scott replies in his best Gary Cooper imitation. “Hoping to get lucky there?” “Yup.” And we too are hoping they will find some blue ribbon winners.

We now cut to full screen and color as the boys arrive at the Antelope County Fair and the credits run over the action. There are a lot of rides at the fair. We see Scott being tossed from a mechanical bull. But it is different ride these boys have in mind. Things begin to look up when Steven runs into his cute Mexican friend Eduardo Rivera and his friend Lex Milan. When Lex and Scott are introduced they and we see fireworks so it is not surprising that they soon leave the other two behind and go off to send up some more rockets.

We now cut abruptly to two totally naked guys we have never seen before having sex in a barn. They are Johnny Law and Derek Long. Heartland Studios is a branch of Celestial Entertainment, the company that brings us those great films of Canadian twinks. Judging by the name and by its only other release YOUNG JOYRIDERS, Heartland Studios appears to be concentrating on twinks in the modern American west. Maybe one day they’ll go back in time to produce a sort of “Young Guns” with sex. That would be fun. Now if they’ll just not edit out the initial penetration shots they’ll become one of my favorites.
