The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although I did hear a background noise or two they were always very minor. The video is also nicely done, and presented in the full frame format. It's nicely lit and has just a hint of grain.

Since Jake always seems to do a great job with the camera work that should mean that this would be a great release, but sadly it wasn't to be. There was one thing that killed this one and that was John Strong. Don't get me wrong, John's a good cocksman, but this one was just too much of him. Out of the two hours and twenty minutes Me Luv U Long Time 9 lasts, I wouldn't doubt if he was in an hour and forty five minutes of it. If that didn't make him get old fast enough, only his scene with Gianna Lynn didn't start with him spooning the girl and two his four scenes went from him spooning her pussy to spooning her ass. Add in what seemed like a rush to get to the fucking with barely any oral attention for any of the girls (maybe ten minutes total in the entire movie), and you have a movie that quickly falls in a rut and doesn't seem to want to get out of it. Me Luv U Long Time 9 has some things going for it, but an overall redundancy that never lets it get past the average mark.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts just over three minutes with about six seconds per good looking framed snapshot with a very annoying and intrusive watermark at the bottom of each. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, weblinks, and a Red Light District sampler DVD filled with trailers for their movies.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about four and a half minutes. Lani starts the featurette out talking with Jake about sex before it moves on with Sierra appreciating light on her pussy. Currently, many of Red Light District's DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with several stores offering them for under $20. Aim low or rent this one first unless you're a big John Strong fan. The action isn't bad, but it does quickly get repetitive due to John being in four of the five scenes. The technical aspects are nicely done, and there's also a little effort put into the extras. This is a barely above average DVD that could have used a bit more variety.

Note to Red Light District: Sometimes variety can be a good thing. In this case, your lack of variety for the male talent really held this one back.
