Initial Expectations: I haven't seen any of this series yet, but being a fan of the women with a bit more age and experience I can't help but have a bit of hope here.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are well done. The audio is normally clear and well balanced, but there are a few areas that are a little quiet. The video is mostly presented in non-anamorphic widescreen with a little full frame footage mixed in, and looks pretty good. There's a few shadows that do interfere and a touch of softness, but the camera work is smooth and free of any really noticeable motion.

Music: There's a little generic music that thankfully rests nicely in the background.

Menus: The main menu is a bit generic, and blends a still of Victoria Sin with a few clips from the movie and a little generic animation. The chapter menu shows a bit of effort and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the lady in it.

The Feature

Mature Brotha Lovers 9 keeps things fairly simple. The scenes normally start out with a little tease and an interview, and then sometimes get right to the action while other times it goes with a little more setup. In each case you get an experienced woman taking on a big black dick.

Scene 1 – Victoria Sin and Rico Strong

Brunette Victoria starts her scene out in a leopard print top with a pair of sexy black panties running a hand around her legs, showing a little tit, and teasing the camera with a great naughty smile before sliding a hand into her panties to start playing with herself. I was a little surprised that Victoria didn't take him up the ass, but she did take a nice facial even if Rico can't manage any velocity with it. This is a nice start to the movie.

Scene 2 – Sandy Beach and Rico Strong

Brunette Sandy starts her scene out in a little blue baby doll teasing the camera before changing into some sexy pink and white lingerie to talk about why she thinks older women fuck better, her love of sex, and black cock. This is a simple scene, but one that worked very well for me. The sex seems just a touch flat, but at the same time there's something about Sandy that really drew me into the scene. The level of the sex is at a very nice level and Sandy looks to be very into it. There's something about this scene that seems just a little off, but I was still very well drawn into it.

Scene 3 – Cindy Crawford and Rico Strong

Cindy, who now her her hair jet black with a few blonde streaks, talks a little about sex, being stalked, and the difference between fucking black and white guys. Things move to a large backyard basketball court for Cindy to play a little strip hoops with Rico, and when she loses the bet she happily gets down to suck his cock. This is a good scene. I don't care much for Cindy's new look, but she has very nice chemistry with Rico and the basketball opening helps give the scene a nice and fun start, but it is a little weak on the lighting due to the amount of trees that appear to be in the area and the number of shadows they give the scene. They move through the positions well with Cindy taking on his big cock extremely well, and although he provides the usual weak velocity for his pop, Cindy takes it very well on her face with a great smile. This is another solid scene.

Scene 4 – Joclyn Stone and Lee Bang

Heavily tattooed bottle blonde Joclyn starts out in pink lingerie talking about being fairly new, her first black experience, and what guys notice about her while mixing in a little tease for the camera. This is a good scene that just didn't do a lot for me. Joclyn and Lee have great chemistry, and she turns out a vocal and energetic fuck that appears completely natural for her. At the same time, Joclyn's look did nothing for me. I was turned off by her multitude of tattoos as well as her huge, dark, hairy bush. This was far from a bad scene, but it just didn't do anything for me.

Scene 5 – Jamie Kenny and Rico Strong

Cute brunette Jamie starts her scene in a little red dress talking about how she loves black cocks because they fill her up and that she also squirts. Mature Brotha Lovers 9 is a nicely done interracial release. There's a nice variety of older white women, and they all take the black dick quite well. Although the scenes don't have a consistent style and has a slightly thrown together feel because of it, that also isn't a completely bad thing because it helps to give the movie a bit more variety. The action is nicely captured, but my biggest complaint is that the most variety in the movie seems to be the setups. The fucking is all vaginal despite having the potential for some great anal with Victoria Sin and Cindy Crawford in the movie, and although he did a nice job in each of his scenes, having Rico in four of the five scenes made him get a little old. Mature Brotha Lovers 9 is a decently done interracial movie with experienced women, but it's missing that spark to take it from good to great.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Big Tit Brotha Lovers 10, Big Black Creamy Tits 2, Red on Top Black in the Hole 2, and Booty Juice 11. The photo gallery lasts eight and a quarter minutes with about six seconds per nice looking snapshot. There are three bonus scenes with Justin Slayer taking on three different blondes, but as they're hacked up versions of the original scenes they didn't seem worth bothering with. There's also a cast listing by scene, a behind the scenes featurette, commercials, and cumshot recaps.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about five minutes. Diana starts out chatting with Rico and Sandy before the scene talking about the generic role he could play for their scene together. She makes her way around the set to harass Rico a bit about his AVN nominations while he's on the computer before capturing a bit of the action between Rico and Victoria. This is a fun little behind the scenes featurette with some very good personality.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of King Midas's DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with a few stores offering them near the lower end. The low end's a pretty fair price for what you get here. The sex is solid, but not great, and there's nice chemistry in most of the scenes. The video is nicely done, and there's also a bit of effort put into the extras. This is a good release.

Note to Exquisite / King Midas: It's great that you want to include bonus scenes, but one full bonus scene is worth more than a dozen scenes that are hacked up like the ones you included here. Also, if you're going to use the widescreen format, please take your support to anamorphic widescreen.
