Jean-Yves Le Castel balances an ever-slicker approach with some strong anal sex in this tale of a businessman who is a secret weekend warrior, leading a gang of rough and ready (but really kind of cuddly!) bikers through various debauched scenarios.

Eva
After woodenly briefing his highly efficient secretary (Sylvia Sun), Chris is driven by his chauffeur to his country house, where slinky biker moll Eva Black (AKA Mercedes) is waiting. I've seen this sexy, all-natural brunette look better before, but she turns in a reasonable performance in a scene that almost comes across as romantic, what with dimmed lighting and the glow of candles. But don't worry; Chris makes sure he fully stretches her anus too! In all honesty, this is pleasant viewing but little more.

Eva and the cops
Next day, Chris assembles his biker gang and the lads hit the road, with Eva in tow, as depicted in an effective "on the road" sequence. However, they snag some trouble when cops stop their progress down a country lane. Eva has the answer - she treats the cops nicely, and the gang get to continue on their hell-raising way. As they race off, Eva treats the cops (Alberto and some other guy) to some nice oral, and they feast on her tits before taking turns shafting her on and around the police car before blasting off on her face. No anal, but perhaps wisely for the sake of Eva's health, after the usage her bunghole received in the previous scene. As the sated coppers recline on the verge, Eva hops into their car, gives them the finger and drives off at pace, with semi-nude officers chasing vainly after.

Christina Blonde
Meanwhile, the biker gang have chanced upon a stranded motorist, Christina Blonde. Any help she might get with her broken-down car will come at a price. She is encouraged to suck some dicks as they crudely grope her, launching us into a lengthy, indeed overlong, gangbang scene that proceeds through many positions taking in vaginal and anal turn-taking, DPs and lots of gaping anus stuff, until Christina is drenched in numerous loads of come and left sobbing at the roadside, car still unfixed! If you really like this kind of thing it may be more interesting, but I found it a little bit tiresome for a couple of reasons. Primarily, I don't consider Christina particularly attractive, and secondly, Le Castel totally overdoes the use of his new toy - a crane-mount camera often used quite inappropriately, though that's made more obvious by editing that fails to cut out shots of the road, guys' backs and so on. The constant buddy banter of the guys gets wearing in this and the following scene too, although the occasional jocular pretend "gay" advances one or two of the guys make as they muck around are ironically amusing.

Vanessa
Under cover of darkness, the gang rolls into a biker bar where they find the landlady, brassy blonde Vanessa, is less than welcoming. They threaten to smash the place up, but settle for taking out their frustration on her ass. Again, Vanessa is not to my taste with her harsh looks and large inflated breasts, and she makes the same kind of reaction for much of the scene whether they are banging her pussy or ass. There's plenty of DP action and another round of heavy facials (though again the editing needs sharpening - why include what seems like minutes of Franco vainly trying to spill his load?), though once again the banter, especially from Frank Gun, is really awful. Funny, and has to be heard to be believed. But still awful. Anyway, after they've had their wicked way with her, the guys decide to smash up Vanessa's pub just for the hell of it. After they've roared off into he night, a detective (Le Castel) turns up and assures the distraught Vanessa that he'll take care of them.

Gina Blonde
Now Gina, who the boys gang up on when they arrive at a metal gig in some warehouse venue, is potentially more to my taste, appearing young, blonde, and naturally cute and curvy. However, JY goes for it with his crane cam again and there are precious few shots of what she really looks like. Nonetheless, the action is extremely hard as she drops to her knees amid the crowd of rough, randy men and sucks cock before taking multiple dicks (mainly in her ass), and several double anal penetrations, not all of which are successful. She still seems to be smiling at the end as once more the lads deliver exposure-defying large wads on her face. Detracting from this scene: the dubbed sound, as though the band is playing on, with dialogue obviously taken from the preceding scene. Which was annoying enough the first time. Also, I dare say some really wacky camera moves and continuous flashing lights will put off some viewers.

Sylvia Sun
Now, to me, Sylvia is a star. She's just so slim, slinky and sexy. Just how fine does she look in that stack-heeled, rock chick attire? Her long legs and round sexy ass even make those fishnet tights look good. He discovers his secretary at the bar, and takes her away for a clandestine fuck in some graffiti-sprayed toilet. "I've come for you," she breathes. The action is a little fierier as they paw at each other. Chris gets the benefit of Sylvia's fantastic oral ability, then takes fucks her through the ripped-open tights against the wall. It's just a touch rough, and soon moves on to some anal delivered at a hard pace in slightly exaggerated fashion by Chris, before pushing her to her knees and having her wank and suck him till he blasts off over her face. In all honesty, this is the only scene that really turned me on, where the performers fuck like people who really want to get it on, rather than as participants in some choreographed set piece.

I won't reveal the ending, though I doubt that most Matador fans care little for the story anyway - what will be of most importance is the fact that the anal action that is the series' hallmark is present and correct!

Overall
Generally speaking, I found this to be a broadly enjoyable movie that exploits the biker theme to reasonable effect and should certainly please the target audience with its strong sexual content. It was also pleasing to see Le Castel aiming higher in terms of production values. However, the higher your aim, the more obvious it is when you fall short, and in some regards the good work with the cameras, styling, locations and so forth is undermined by some of the criticisms I've already highlighted.

I know porn fans have learned to make allowance for bad acting and terrible dialogue (goes with the territory), but if a director is trying to create something more, why should we tolerate it? It's just little things that give an air of mild incompetence that could easily have been avoided - for example, on several occasions, microphones, equipment, crewmembers and cameramen creep into the shot. Some judicious editing and more attention to detail, especially on the acting front, would have made this a much better movie all round.

Let's face it, why hire all those cameras and set up all these location shoots and so forth if you just want to make another anal porn movie? Despite aspirations to something more, for the greater part that's all Matador 10 is. Which, depending on taste, may well be perfectly acceptable. One side note - some of the (very occasional and entirely humourous) pretend gay overtones in the scenes and even the title - which might better suit a gay film - are quite ironic given recent ADT debate on the heterosexuality or otherwise of some of the sex acts portrayed in this very movie!

DVD Comments
The picture quality is excellent on this disc, and is matched by audio that offers English language primarily with a host of language and subtitle options. Always welcome is a "Making Of" clip among the extras - this one is good but is marred again by typical Private bullshit on the narration - which is backed up by photos, cast and movie information and a DVD-ROM section too. All in all, the slick package you should expect from Private.
