PREFACE:
The theme of domination and submission is one of the most complex sexual topics that we (as fans and producers collectively) face in the world of pornography. The questions abound on this issue. They can include questions that we ask ourselves (i.e. "Why am I sexually aroused by the idea of a woman being spanked?"), they can include questions we ask each other (i.e. "How in gods name can you POSSIBLY be aroused by a woman being spanked?") and the issue can all too easily blossom into social questions of "right" and "wrong" (i.e. "Is it socially responsible and morally right to portray, on video, a woman being spanked?"). The Gist
Aside from Katie's scene, this is the hottest in the video, in my view. It has everything I like, and with the exception of a few tiny moments here and there, nothing that I hate to see in a domination oriented scene. Michelle is, unfortunately, the least attractive woman in the movie. That's not to say she's not attractive, as she has a sexy way about her that I can't deny, but she's certainly not the type of woman that I get a porn movie to watch. While I can certainly appreciate that, her looks are not my cup of tea.
The Action

The Gist
I'm not sure where to be on this one. I guess I would sum this scene up as follows, 1.) I don't find Michelle that attractive. 2.) Some of the acts in this scene were hard to watch. I mean, I like filthy bathroom scenes as much as the next guy (look at the first scene in Dirty Little Sex Brats #1 for an excellent example of my kind of scene), but the slapping, and the licking dirty toilets is something that shrivels my dick faster than a grandma gangbang in the middle of a breast implant manufacturers convention. 3.) On the other hand, Michelle was OK looking, and she was totally into the scene. While her enjoyment doesn't necessarily equate to me liking it, I can at least say that I feel better about it knowing that, and can acknowledge that even though I didn't like it, others might.

ONE LAST NOTE ABOUT CHOKING--this is where I draw the line. I don't think the act of actual choking belongs anywhere near a TV screen. I feel this way not because I'm not aroused by it (which I'm not), and not because I think it's obscene (which I don't), but because it is physically dangerous. Choking even in a mild form can cause lack of oxygen to the brain which can result in permenant brain damage--to say nothing of the fact that it's potentially life threatening. It's all well and good that Michelle and Tony might enjoy this practice in private (and I hear that they actually do...), but I never want to be party to watching a scene where I think the performers life might be in danger because of a silly act that I would wager the majority of porn fans aren't aroused by. I'll get off my soapbox now, and to be fair I've heard that Mason has decided to stop shooting choking in her scenes. For what it's worth, I think that's the right choice.

DVD QUALITY
The video quality on this disc was fairly good, but sometimes the lighting was lacking (in Katie's scene especially). Mason held the camera, and actually did quite a good job. She tended to concentrate not only on closeups of dick and pussy, but also on the women's faces, which I absolutely love, and don't see enough of in porn. Her camera work was sometimes awkward and choppy (with some strange angles), but by and large, she showed me what I wanted to see. The sound, however was quite disappointing. I had to really crank it to hear some of the dialogue, and in a movie like this, I want to hear EVERY word. The other sound drawback was that the voices came out of only one channel, while the music (which was not used during scenes) came out of the other.

EXTRAS:
The extras on the disc included a behind the scenes feature on the Elegant Angel movie Exxxplosion, which was actually quite interesting once we moved past the somewhat wacky antics of William H. Nutsack. It also included a fair number of lengthy Elegant Angel trailers for some other videos I might like to see. The drawback is that I've seen this exact pacakge of extras on other Elegant Angel discs, but from what I hear, they are working to improve their DVD extra content for future releases. There are also some still photos, for those who like that kind of thing.

OVERALL:
Mason is clearly on a mission on this disc to bring out the inner whore in her female talent, which by my standards she does pretty damn successfully. You can call it irresponsible (which is certainly debatable), you can call it misogynistic (which I think would be incorrect), or you can call it a healthy exploration of the more repressed side of human sexuality. As you might guess, I would go with the latter, and while I'm at it, I would say that this video had some pretty damn hot sex by any standards. The Katie Morgan scene is awesome, and is the highlight of her career repertoir, and of this disc. The Kinky scene comes in second with a damn fine looking woman getting nicely fucked by Brandon Iron. Summer and Olivia turn in some fine scenes as well. And although Michelle's scene is way over the top for me, and left me limp as a noodle, I could see that she (like all the women in the video) was really into making it, and acknowledge that others will probably be into watching it. I don't pretend to make porn out to be more than it is, but I do attest that porn has more to show us than just gaping assholes and bukakke cumfests. It can speak to our complex human sexuality, and Mason does exactly that here. I would recommend this one to anyone who's ready for a walk on the wild side, and especially to anyone who loves Katie Morgan!
