Marriage 2.0 Review

Marriage 2.0 is a new collaboration between Gamelink and Adam and Eve Pictures. It attempts to transform the way erotica is viewed and received. Mainstream movies have a compelling storyline with implied sexual relations as part of the storyline. Traditional porn features hardcore sex with just a minimum of storyline. And Cinemax or softcore movies are somewhere in the middle. This release attempts to bring all them together.

Paul Deeb directs this story written by Magnus Sullivan. It concerns a couple, India Summer and Some Dude, who are in a very open relationship. They fool around with other people but try to establish boundaries and where they are at with each other. The movie follows them through their daily lives and explores their relationship in a manner you don't traditionally see in adult movies.

Since this is not a normal film, this won't be a normal review. I'll describe a few of the sex scenes that are very tame compared to most of what I review. The storyline is ambitious but I'm interested in the sex!

India and Some are a typical couple. Doing household chores, having meaningless conversations, etc. They try to snake in a sexual tryst whenever they can. The first time they try is when Some is making dinner. India starts stroking his cock and they get romantic on the countertop while their dinner is burning. It's interrupted by the smoke and when a neighbor onders what all the commotion is. They try a couple nights later and Some worships her body and fingers her pussy. India grinds on his cock and thens ensuously takes him into her mouth. She rides him in cowgirl and then strokes him off all over her hands.

Nina Harley is India's mother who always offer her advice,w hether she wants it or not. India is in the middle of a massage and she hands her masseuse a rubbe rand tells him she wants the deep tissue massage. He fucks her in mish in what could pass for something on Cinemax or PlayboyTV. India and Some attend a dinner party that turns into a swinger's party. India and Some are able to learn more about themselves while observing the sexual chemistry of other couples. At one point, India walks from room to room and watches other couples having sex in all varieties: boy/girl, girl/girl, BDSM, boy/boy/girl, etc. At the end, she comes across her husband and Dylan Some having a tryst. The look in India's eyes tell us that she doesn't like that one bit.

India kicks Some out and her friends and acquaintances talk tough to her. She goes on a few dates and tries to find herself. She even goes on a date and, while they're at the movies, she dreams concurrently of having sex with the guy and also about her relationship with Some. When he takes her home, he actually finger bangs her in the stairwell when they are interrupted by the neighbor. (What? Do they live next to Gladys Cravitz?) When he leaves, he tells her that she belongs with Some.

I read other reviews of this disk and can't believe what I read. This is like a Lifetime movie with a couple of sex scenes thrown in. Just because it's different doesn't mean it's good! I'll give them an A for effort and it is a good story with good acting, especially on India's part. If you're in it for the sex, like most porn fans are, then you'll want to pick up something more to you're liking. This is definitely a couples disk that you'll want to watch with your significant other. A for storyline, D for sex which is a solid C+.
