Initial Expectations: I pretty much hated the first Mario’s Raunchy Road Trips, so I’m not expecting much out of this one.

Initial Reaction: It’s far from perfect, but not too bad.

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty normal for gonzo porn. The audio is often a little off balance, and much of the dialogue seemed just muddy enough that when combined with a British accent I couldn’t understand it. There’s a fair amount of camera shakes, extreme close-ups, and shots where you can’t see any of the real action but can see the cameras and people operating them. The biggest problem with the technical aspects is an bar across the bottom of the screen that’s off from the rest of the screen and is constantly moving.

Music: There’s a little music with a techno feel, but it comes and goes throughout the movie. It’s normally a bit on the loud side, and occasionally annoying.

Menus: The menus are pretty standard here. The main menu is unanimated and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature: Mario, one of the few porn stars who doesn’t leave you much doubt as to whether he was dropped on his head at a young age, has returned, and is still doing all he can to try and rip off the Big Omar series. He’s brought together a few friends to do a little road trip and fuck a lot.

Leanne starts things out playing with her pussy and ass for the camera before she takes one for the team with Mario. She gives him some nice knob gobbling before Mario goes down and fingers both of her holes while licking her clit. It’s a bit of a clusterfuck of a scene, but there’s enough between Leanne and Bob to keep it going good. Leanne is really impressive again here, and has an obvious love of sex that one can’t fake.

Mandy and Poppy get it on during the ride home. They exchange oral favors while Leanne watches, and then start to fuck when Mario stops the car. Mandy and Poppy get it on in the car doggie style before Mandy finishes up with a nice facial. When they stop, Leanne gives Mario a little oral action and fucks him in the front seat. Mario pokes Mandy a little in back before they continue their journey. As they move on, Poppy gets a second wind and goes back to work fucking Mandy as they drive down the road until he pops on her ass. It’s a nicely done sequence, with Mandy staying the focus of the scene pretty well.

Mandy’s action continues when they stop at Bob’s house, where she lets Mario work on her again. Mario fucks her again and works her up to four fingers in her snatch. It’s a great scene where Mario’s ego doesn’t completely overpower the scene, and Mandy and her enjoyment remains the focus of the scene.

The group stops to pick up Storme and Becky on the way home. They have a costume party that leads to an orgy with everybody getting a little action. There’s plenty of everything here. You get lesbian action, anal, a DP, plenty of swapping, and most everything you could want except two dicks in the same hole. It’s a very nice scene, and would have made a great final scene. Nobody really overpowers anybody else, and the costumes give it a fun feel.

Mario finishes things up with auburn haired Nina. They give each other a little oral attention before Mario fucks her pussy. Nina even lets Bob join in for a DP, which looks like it puts her in a bit of pain, before finishing things up with a facial from Mario. This scene gives me some hope for Mario. He doesn’t act like a complete jackass through most of it, and instead lets Nina show some of what she can do. It makes a great final scene, and actually left me feeling good about watching this movie.

It’s never a good thing when you look at the timer on the movie to see how much is left, and you realize that it hasn’t been five minutes since you did it last. I’m not sure how many times that happened to me in Mario’s Raunchy Road Trips 2: Anal Days. There’s plenty of hot sex here, but there were also so many ruts in this road trip that at times I didn’t think it would ever get anywhere. All the credit for it getting anywhere has to go to the ladies in the movie. The guys were such idiots that I couldn’t help but hope that Mario’s minivan would be carjacked and they’d run him over on their escape. With the exception of a couple moments, such as the final scene, all he struck me as was an egotistical retard, and I rarely had the feeling that he was sober. I’m sure some people will find him charming or a nice change from the usual porn stud, and those people will probably love this series. I, on the other hand, think he comes close to ruining the entire movie, although I will admit that he does show some potential in the final scene. The bigger problem in the movie is the camera work and editing. I don’t think I was really pleased with half of the shots throughout the entire sexual portion of the movie. They frequently cut of heads or penetration, and I think I can count on my fingers the number of times you could see both throughout the movie. The zoom feature on the camera also seemed to be off, as the camera seemed to want to focus more on a cock than the person sucking it, even if they backed away so most of their head wasn’t on screen. The style of the movie also resorts to speeding up the movie and putting it to music for so much of the movie that I felt that I might as well do it myself with the help of my fast forward button. This isn’t something the viewer should feel like doing, and certainly not as often as I felt it here. Mario’s Raunchy Road Trips 2: Anal Days has a decent start, but once again bobbles the ball enough that it’s not overly memorable.

There’s some hot sex here, but there’s also enough to detract from it that I think some people will absolutely love it while others will be eager to leave it at the nearest rest stop. The technical aspects leave a bit to be desired, and there isn’t anything worth mentioning for extras.

Note to VCA: It’s nice to see some improvement in this series, but something for extras would really be great here!
