For Starters: This is the first Manplay title I’ve seen, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Turns out, Manplay 7 is basically a two hour-long orgy, starring 7 different guys. In most cases, not all seven guys are on the set at once, and there’s no scene structure at all.
What I Liked:
While there are only 7 stars, they do cover the spectrum nicely. Some are smooth, some hairy, some older, some younger, and there’s even a few bald ones in there. I found most of them attractive, but the nice thing about these guys, is they’re attractive in an attainable way. Sure, you can lust after the Titan A stars like Patrick Knight and Dred Scott all you want, but the chance getting down their shorts is virtually zero. These guys, on the other hand, are the kind of good looking guys you’ll find at your friendly neighborhood gay bar, who’ll be willing to take you home and fuck your brains out after a few drinks.
Carlos is by far my favorite in the bunch. He’s one of the slightly older guys, with a bit of a receding hairline… it definitely works for him, though! He’s also got a deliciously hairy chest, a nice big cock, and an insatiable appetite.
As far as orgies go, this one is shot really well. They mix up the close-ups and wide shots nicely. Every bead of sweat dripping off someone’s head is caught on film, as well as every ounce of drool rolling down a thick cock.
What I didn’t Like:
I’ve got 2 main problems with Manplay 7. First off, I really wish they had broken the movie down into a number of different scenes. Don’t get me wrong, the sex is hot, it just seems never-ending at times. These guys just keep going and going, like the energizer bunny...
My other big beef with Manplay 7 is that there just isn’t enough anal sex. If oral’s your thing, you’ll probably go bonkers over this one. Me, I need to see lots of ass-ramming to make me happy, and this movie just didn’t deliver enough. There’s even a couple of parts where guys tease us… they get into position where it looks like they’re about to fuck someone, but then they change their mind, and go do something else. Seemed to me that they needed a few more bottoms, too. Mateo was pretty much the only guy that got significantly fucked. The one or two other bottoms seemed to cum after only a minute or two of getting boned!
Audio/Visual Quality
I have no complaints in the A/V department. The video is very clear, and the music is kept very low in the mix, so we can hear every little grunt and moan.
Extras
Along with previews for Manplays 4,5 and 6, there are 2 bonus scenes. The first is rather lengthy, but is pretty indistinguishable from the rest of the movie. If you loved the main feature, then great! You get more of the same! The second bonus scene is pretty short, and probably should have been either integrated into the feature, or dropped completely.
Final Word
One of the reviewers for a previous Manplay title said it best…. These movies would be great to run on your TV during your own orgy. Whether or not it’s a good flick to sit and jerk off to by yourself is another story. Separate scenes would have helped immensely, as would a few different sets. In the end, Manplay 7 is great in small doses, but I just don’t have the attention span to sit through 2 hours of the same thing over and over.
