The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I’ve had very mixed results from this series. I’m not quite sure what to expect.

Initial Reaction: The sex is okay, but the technical aspects hold it back tremendously.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who looks for big boobs first and everything else second and who likes to be teased

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a lot of lesbian action or naturally big boobs

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The only audio is the music. The video has a soft and slightly grainy look, but helps a lot with the artistic feel of the movie. It’s well lit, and sometimes even over lit depending on the effect wanted. There’s some bad pixelation during some parts of the feature, as well as a flickering effect which was bad enough to start giving me a headache during the movie.

Music: The music has a sexy feel, but is the only audio in the feature.

False Advertising: Fantasia and Pandora Peaks are listed as being in the cast on the cover, but don’t appear anywhere in the movie that I could see. Heck, they’re not even listed in the credits of the movie! Whether it’s an honest mistake or not, this ends up being blatant false advertising, and only gets worse because this is the second Lusty Busty Dolls title to have this happen on. It’s pretty sad when somebody can’t keep track of six women! I can see no option here than to penalize the overall score of the movie a full point!

Menus: The menus are pretty decent. The main menu works in some nice animation, but the chapter menu keeps things very standard and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

The Lusty Busty Dolls series goes with a simple idea, busty women. Skye Blue brings together lesbian scenes and masturbation scenes, and works more than a little tease into each scene. There’s never a plot to set things up, and the camera work is always on the artistic side.

Scene 1 - Skye Blue and Summer Cummings

Skye and Summer start things out in a pool wearing blue and red swimming caps and swimsuits respectively before Skye starts helping Summer out of hers. They take turns tonguing each other’s twat both above and below the water, and Summer also puts the squirt guns to use. The girls also get in a bit of anal play, with Summer taking a buttplug and Skye taking Summer’s tongue, before they finish things up with Summer taking a technical DP.

This is a decent scene. Summer and Skye have great chemistry together, and put in some very nice energy. The toys come into the scene alright, although they do feel a bit like a crutch. This would have been a hot scene if it would have had a little audio from the girls.

Scene 2 - Penelope Pumpkins

Penelope starts things out doing the dishes topless before giving into her need to wash her funbags. She uses her sponge to make sure that everything’s clean down under before sliding a rubber gloved finger or two in. After getting nice and clean she decides to get a little dirty with the help of a banana and an ice cream cup. She pulls her black dildo out of the kitchen sink to put it away in her pussy before washing it up again and letting the scene fade out.

This was a pretty good scene. Penelope keeps things moving nicely, and the mix of rubber gloves, food, and a toy helped to make it a winner for me. She plays to the camera a bit, but never overdid things to the point that I lost interest in the scene.

Scene 3 - Rebecca Wild and Anita Cannibal

Anita and Rebecca start things out oiling each other up while tanning. Of course their bikinis disappear as they oil each other up, and somehow Anita slips and her tongue falls into Rebecca’s coochie. Rebecca works Anita over in return before fucking her with a double dildo through the lawn chair. She even gets on the other end a bit before they suck it, kiss, and finish things up splashing a little water on each other.

This is a fairly hot scene. Anita and Rebecca look like they’re having a lot of fun, and the playful attitude here works for the scene more than anything else. Once again, if there was a little audio from the performers and the camera work would have moved away from extreme close-ups and extreme distance shots, this would have been a much hotter scene.

Scene 4 - Holly Body

Holly starts things out wearing heart shaped glasses and taking a drag on a fag, I mean smoking. She rolls around on her blades while enjoying her smoke and takes off her top before playing around with a hula hoop. She jumps around on a trampoline before settling back and diddling herself. Holly breaks out her lunch box next, and makes me wish I were an Oscar Meyer wiener with the oral treatment she gives the hot dog she breaks out, before finishing things up working on herself with a small dildo.

This is a pretty good scene. The opening tease with Holly jumping around went on a bit long, but once it got past that it held my attention completely. Holly’s hot dog tease is excellent, and the camera gets in nicely for her masturbation with the vibe. This is a nicely done scene that could have been much better with a little tighter editing at the start.

Lusty Busty Dolls 4 should have been a great all girl feature. The scenes are normally nicely paced and I really like how the scenes alternate between all girl action and solo action. Skye does a very nice job of trying to make the scenes unique and artistic, and most of the time they have very nice chemistry as well. Unfortunately, that’s not quite enough for me here. The camera work left a lot to be desired for me, and the lack of any real audio in the scenes held back the scenes to a fraction of the potential they showed. Worst of all here is the video quality, which appears to have been purposeful. It alternates between tints to give it a shimmery or flashing effect which ruined much of the movie for me. Lusty Busty Dolls 4 has great potential, but sadly never gets close to fulfilling it.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Bizarre Video DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $28 with most stores offering them for over $20. Rent this one before you buy it. The action is pretty good, but there’s nothing worth mentioning for extras and the video quality is so bad that it’s barely watchable.

Note to Bizarre Video: I hope that whoever was in charge of quality control when this DVD was released is holding a “Will Work For Food” sign rather than collecting a check from you.
