With LUST IN TRANSLATION David Del Dorado and El Dorado Entertainment do for Argentina what Kristen Bjorn in his early films did for Brazil. I can find no other films by this director and there is only one preview for coming attractions from the studio so I don’t know what his background is. But if this is indeed his first film then it is one of the most remarkable—if not THE most remarkable debuts in gay porn. IN LUST IN TRANSLATION the men are young and beautiful, the sex is scintillating, and the direction and photography are among the finest I’ve seen.

The scenes begin with one of the performers giving an interview (in Spanish with subtitles) telling us a bit about himself and setting up the scene. The first of these is Ariel Cruz, a nicely muscled young hunk, who tells us that he has sex with men for money and that one of his clients was a famous elderly painter who was really hung (“the biggest cock I’ve been fucked with”) and who took Viagra so that they could engage in that flip-flop fuck. For this experience Ariel received $1500. (If I had lots of money I’d play Prospero to his Ariel, too.) His scene is with Juan Jose Hernandez, who has a small goatee in this scene but is smooth-shaven when he returns in a threesome in scene four. Totally naked they make a truly stunning couple. They move to a sofa where they engage in a nice 69. Juan Jose then feeds Ariel his cock before getting up to place his foot on a chair and give Ariel easy access to his ass. Ariel kneels behind Juan Jose and pries apart his buns to reveal the cherry center of his hole into which Ariel pries his tongue. When it’s time to fuck, Ariel replaces his tongue with a hard cock. Juan Jose also goes for a ride a la cowboy, and the fuck finishes in the missionary position. Both spew large ropes of cum.

A cute twink is the next to talk to us. He is Alex Mendoza. Alex is a straight dancer who does “erotic shows with guys”. He also tells us he is a Scorpio, the worst of all signs. (His words, not mine.) His scene is with another young cutie. Alex maintains his straight façade being passive for the French and active for the Greek.

In scene three we are introduced to Alexis Lechero (he’s on the cover). Alexis may well be the most beautiful man in Argentina. He’s certainly one of the most stunning men on the planet. He does his dance routine for us culminating in a solo jack-off. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a huge load come from anyone’s cock before. It lands on a full-length mirror. It’s so stupendous that we see it again in slow-mo.

The fourth scene is a threesome and features a gringo—the American performer Andrew Addams. (How did he get to be so lucky?) Juan Jose, the sexy dude from scene one returns along with Juan Carlos Camacho, another awesome stud. Andrew has the time of his life sucking the cocks and bottoming for these two.

Although Alexis' solo was spectacular in scene three, I was sorry I didn’t get to see him in a twosome. But that was quickly dissipated when he returned in the final scene with young Rocco Valdez. It begins with a kiss on the sofa and then proceeds to Rocco sucking Alexis' cock followed Alexis eating out Rocco’s ass prior to fucking him. Again Alexis delivered a spectacular cum shot. It must have gone three feet. (I find it interesting that straights will eat out a guy’s ass but won’t suck a guy’s cock.)

One of the best things on the DVD is the bonus scene. In it, a gorgeous stud called Gabriel enters an outdoor patio barefoot . He strips down and then goes over to lie on a chaise beneath a mural of a naked woman. Both he and the painted figure are in more or less the same pose as though to say isn’t the male body more beautiful than the female? He goes inside to a pool where he poses and eventually masturbates. It’s the most beautiful solo I have seen outside of the films of Kirsten Bjorn. The photography here is great art.

Wasn’t it Sir Walter Raleigh who was trying to find El Dorado? Well. I have found it here. So can you.
