Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is dominated by the music for most of the movie, but you do get to hear some of the performers' voices work their way in here and there. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It's well lit and soft with a steady hand on the camera, but it also seems like it's being slowed down slightly (and having music as the only audio in some areas strengthens this thought) with mixed results.

Babes' releases so far have left me a bit underwhelmed, but they start to turn things around a bit for me here. There's the same soft and sexy feeling to the scenes, along with slowing down the action a bit much and letting the music overtake the audio, but the chemistry seems a little stronger here than in their previous releases. Selena Rose starts things out very nice with Richie, and looks sexy as heck. I love the laid back opening to Jessie and Giovanni's scene, and the businesslike start of Mega's scene with Giovanni is just as nice. Carol really impressed me, and her look reminded me quite a bit of Bobbi Starr. Finally there's Veronica, who closes things out with a scene that's good, but somehow lacks behind the others. Through it all the camera work is great, but the movie also falls short due to it's avoidance of the pop shots. You only get to see cum at the end of three of the five scenes, and it didn't even seem like there was much effort put into faking the internal pop shots. This was easily the biggest problem with Luscious Latinas for me, and sadly seems to be fairly common among Babes' scenes. Luscious Latinas has some very nice things going for it due to a soft and sexy style, a cast that's easy on the eyes, and some nice chemistry, but its habit of avoiding the pop shots, sometimes slowing things down a little too much, and a short running time hold this one back to being a rental.

Note to Babes:
With this short of a running time, something like a bonus scene in the extras would seem like a greta idea to help give consumers a little more bang for their buck.
