Lost Footage 2 Review

Initial Expectations: I’ve really liked what I’ve seen from Shot at Home so far, so I’m going in with high expectations once again.

Initial Reaction: I love the voyeuristic aspect of this feature, but the camera work often felt amateurish even for amateur porn.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting to indulge their more voyeuristic side

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting high quality technical aspects, nasty sex, or to see the girl a lot

Audio /Video Quality: Although this feature contains extra footage from two completely different productions, the technical aspects are very consistent. The audio is clear and pretty well balanced. There’s a little background noise in the form of a television, but it actually enhances the scene rather than drawing away from it. The video is extremely different. It’s often grainy and is shot in the green tones of night vision. This really heightens the voyeuristic aspect of the feature, and although I wasn’t sure I’d like it at first, I think it actually strengthened the feature. The biggest problem with the video is the couple times when the camera gets bumped and it focuses on nothing until somebody notices it.

Music: None

Disc Problems / Complaints: There’s a watermark for ShotAtHome.com in the lower right corner. Although I don’t care for watermarks, it’s very well done here. It’s very small, doesn’t move its location much, and doesn’t flip on and off, which makes it very easy to tune out.

Menus: The menus are very basic. The main menu is unanimated and the chapter menu lets you jump to one of six places in the movie based on stills of those scenes.

The Feature: Lost Footage Vol. 2 collects some of the extra footage from two of Shot at Home’s other releases in one package. First, there’s footage of Stephanie and John, which is all shot with night vision. Second, there’s footage of Heather and a different John. There’s no intro to either scene, but the break is pretty clear.

Stephanie starts things out sucking John’s cock on a bed. It doesn’t take her to get John ready, so she moves up to ride his cock while he spanks her ass and talks dirty to her. He pulls her back so they can sixty-nine and so he can tickle her pucker a little before rolling Stephanie onto her back and fucking her missionary style. Stephanie also gets it from behind, and fucks John as much as he fucks her before sucking and licking his cock until he supposedly pops on her face. Sadly, there’s a little technical problem and the scene cuts out, so you never see if he does or not.

This is a great scene for bringing out the inner voyeur! The night-vision aspect of it sets it up great, and the dirty talk and fucking while the television plays in the background finishes off the feeling. It doesn’t hurt that Stephanie is obviously into it and that her and John’s attitudes match up almost perfectly. The lust is apparent throughout this entire scene, and there’s very nice energy to go along with it! Sadly, the technical problem and scene cutting out at the end give this scene an anticlimactic ending, but it’s still darn hot and had me wanting to watch the rest of Stephanie’s series!

Heather, known as “the gagger” takes on John in the second half of the feature. She sucks John and takes his cock into her throat before they mix things up with a little missionary work. Heather takes it from behind also, letting John both fuck her and see how many fingers he can put in her. They move back to missionary for a little more fucking before Heather has John pop in her pussy. You never see anything to do with the pop, but I still had a feeling that it was real rather than faked.

Once again, it’s a nicely done amateur scene that’s enhanced by the night vision. Heather does a great job taking on John, and I was left wanting to see more of her. It’s obvious that she’s having a great time, which is shows off even more by the small talk at the end of the scene between John and Heather. Other than that, I felt pretty much the same way watching this scene as I did the opening scene.

Lost Footage Vol. 2 is far from perfect, but has enough great stuff to make it very worthwhile. On the negative side, there’s plenty of camera angles that are off or barely show anything. On the positive side, however, there’s more enjoyment in each of these scenes alone than I’ve seen in some entire movies. The night vision aspect really enhances each of the scenes, and gives the feature a voyeuristic aspect that I haven’t experienced before and really enjoyed. The scenes are good enough that in both cases I’m left wanting to check out both Stephanie’s series and Heather’s series. That’s just what should happen with a feature like this, and makes Lost Footage Vol. 2 another nice addition to Shot at Home’s lineup.

Extras: Previews are included from many of Shot At Home’s releases, as well as a nice little talk about the start of Shot at Home on video. There’s almost a half hour of extra action here, with each feature getting about three minutes worth of action. It’s a great extra with how many movies Shot At Home have released (at this time, there’s over sixty available), and my only complaint is that each movie doesn’t get its own chapter so that if you want to skip past a movie that doesn’t interest you, you can move onto the next one.

Overall: Currently, the Shot At Home line available exclusively at Adult DVD Empire for about $20 each. This seems a little high to me, but if you’re a fan of either of these ladies I doubt you’ll be disappointed. The technical aspects have a couple problems but are otherwise nicely done, and there’s about a half hour of clips of other Shot at Home DVDs as an extra.

Note to Shot at Home: Please watch your chapter breaks a little better. It’s extremely annoying to try to jump to the start of a scene only to find out that the chapter breaks don’t really coincide with anything.
