Lord Of Asses 9 Review

The last Tom Bryon movie I saw was Whack Attack 11 on videotape back in 2001, starring the lovely Gauge. A lot has happened in six years, including the move to the DVD format, but Tom hasn’t changed what he obviously considers to be a winning formula. It’s a straightforward, no nonsense gonzo format: shots of girl gyrating seductively to techno music, short interview with girl, then onto the sex with Tom. And it’s this simplicity that is both the strength and weakness of this film, and no doubt, the series as a whole.

The disc features five scenes of no holes barred all anal sex, beginning with oral and ending with a facial for the girl. Tom is still a solid performer who knows how to being out the inner slut in most of the girls, and the uncomplicated format seems to lend itself to some passionate fucking with plenty of attitude from the likes of Taryn, Katja and Bree. My favourite scene featured the reliably dirty Taryn Thomas, who rimmed Tom with relish, and who seems to have filled-out since her break from porn and looks very good on it. Bree may have the face of an angel and she sure looks angelic with a cock up her ass in reverse-cowgirl and Katja provides a horny performance as always.

The main downside to this no nonsense format is that all the scenes are essentially the same, with limited, albeit competent camerawork, unimaginative locations, and similar positions for each scene. There is also some annoying cutting between positions, which serves to reduce the fluidity and realism of the scenes.

Being a big fan of Jules Jordan, Erik Everhard and Manuel Ferrara, I found this title too unimaginative and simplistic to challenge their crowns. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the rawness of the sex and some of the performances and it may be a series that I dip into again if Tom can collect together a strong cast. Recommended as a rental only if you are a fan of any of the girls.
