NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty average for a homemade porn release, which means there down a notch from a typical adult film. The audio can be a bit quiet, but it's well balanced and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. The lighting isn't bad and there's a touch of grain, as well as quite a bit of motion.

The Movie: Liana is a very average looking brunette with a nice big butt that she thinks should be tapped. Her dark skinned man Lincoln is definitely up for the job, and since they have a video camera they also get to show off their experiences.

Liana starts out laying on a bed in black lingerie and stockings inviting Lincoln to join her to play with her new toys. Liana and Lincoln 2 is an okay homemade anal release. Here the homemade part really stands out as the camera work can be very weak in places. There's plenty of footage with Lincoln pounding away on Liana from behind as the camera has a close-up of her back or one of her ass cheeks before shaking away to show a little footage where you can't tell which hole he's in, and then going back to some other part of her body. That's easily the down side of this release, but the upside is almost as good because Liana is one hell of a trooper. You can tell that this isn't the soft and easy anal like is normally portrayed in mainstream porn, and although she's getting some pleasure out of it she's also getting plenty of pain. That never stops her, however, and she's more than vocal about wanting Lincoln to fuck her ass. Add in that (according to Shot at Home's website) these three scenes were shot on three consecutive nights and it's all the more impressive. You can see things getting easier for Liana each time, and my only complaint is that some of the vocals just don't do it. Not only can she get a little robotic with her vocals, but there's times she's cheering for Lincoln to fuck her ass harder when it's obvious that he's not in her ass. The other big problem I had was some of the pace. Successful first time anal experiences are normally about taking it slow and gentle along with letting the girl control the action and pace, and here Lincoln gives her one hell of a pounding. I'm amazed that Liana could walk after some of this action, let alone go back for more the next night. Liana and Lincoln 2 has some decent sized faults, but it also shows Liana to be one heck of a sexual trooper and just may be worth checking out for that reason alone.

The Extras: Unlike most releases from Shot at Home, there's not the usual half hour preview reel. In fact, there's no extras whatsoever. This isn't that uncommon when Shot at Home has a release that comes close to an hour and a half in length.

Final Thoughts: Liana does a very impressive job for this being her first anal experience, but I'm not sure that it has much replay value due to the weak camera work.

Note to Shot at Home: You've gotta admire Liana's spirit here, and I hope we see a bit more of her someday because of it.
