The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I've really liked most of what I've seen from Girlfriend Films. I'm going into this one with a bit of hope.

Initial Reaction: It's twisted, but also very hot and well done.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty well done. The audio is fairly clear and pretty well balanced, but there were a couple areas that appeared to have been dubbed, a bit of noise from the beds, and a little hiss in the background during some of the scenes. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. The camera work is simple but well lit and very effective.

Music: There's a little minor music during some of the plot sequences, and it fits in very nice due to a good style and great balance with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu blends a still with a clip from the movie for an okay first impression. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the names of the ladies in it.

The Feature

Dia is about to marry Ashlyn's father, and has two twisted daughters of her own. Aiden is on lithium and not quite fully functional, while her foster child Dana is a raging lesbian who can't grow up and has a dark side of her own. Ashlyn is more than cute and innocent, and although her soon to be sisters have no love for her, Dia wants her to be closer than just mother and daughter.

This is a darn hot scene. Yes, the setup is more than a little twisted and disturbing, but Dana and Dia play into it extremely well. The chemistry between Dana and Dia is off the chart right from the start, and although the scene lasts roughly a half hour every moment seems completely worthwhile. This scene starts the movie out on a very high note.

While the rest of the family heads off to a wedding, cute brunette Ashlyn stays behind and shows off Dana and Aiden's rooms to her redhead friend Nikki, who's sleeping over with her. Nikki eyes her as she gets ready for bed, and after a little smalltalk on the bed with Nikki lightly running her hands around Ashlyn, Nikki bends over to give Ashlyn a kiss and soon after is undressing her. She kisses her way around Ashlyn's chest and stomach before coming up to kiss her while rubbing her breasts and ass. Nikki gets on top so they can grind against each other while kissing before sliding down to lick and finger Ashlyn's bald pussy. Ashlyn rolls over to let Nikki play with her from behind while having her neck and back kissed before moving around for a little more grinding on top of Ashlyn as well as laying next to her. This is another great scene. It's much softer for an opening than the first scene, and adds some great depth to the movie. The sex is every bit as passionate as in the opening scene, and Ashlyn takes the soft and innocent route very well through it all. The focus is definitely on Nikki working Ashlyn over, but with the story that works pretty well and with the chemistry between the girls the lopsided balance between them doesn't hold the scene back at all. This is very hot scene that worked well for me.

After going after Ashlyn, bottle blonde Aiden and brunette Dana go through Ashlyn's panties playing around and taking plenty of sniffs and tastes. They help each other strip down as they kiss and suck each other's tits before Ashlyn takes the lead playing with Dana's pussy. Not surprisingly, this is another very hot scene. The opening is dark, but the girls play it so it's not quite as dark as the opening scene. There's no shortage to the chemistry between Aiden and Dana, and they do a great job letting their dark sides lead into some darn hot sex. I thought this scene was going to end several times, and although it kept going it also seemed to get better every time. I love how into Dana Aiden is and how she seems to constantly pleasure her even when she's working on Aiden. This leads into plenty of great orgasms, and left me slightly in awe by the end of the scene. This is another great scene.

When Dia finds Ashlyn tied up and naked on her bed, she lets Ashlyn know that unlike her, her girls obey her, and that since she's marrying Ashlyn's father she's going to be one of her girls and have to learn how to love a woman. Dia lets her know how good it's going to feel for them to get closer as she runs her hands around Ashlyn, and that she isn't going to be untied until she earns it. It doesn't take Ashlyn long to start returning Dia's soft kisses, and after Dia's fingers lightly roam her body avoiding her pussy she follows Dia's instructions and asks her to touch her. Dia unties her soon after so she can fully enjoy Ashlyn's body, and it doesn't take long for Ashlyn to start sucking her tits as they rub against each other. This is a great final scene. Yes, it's a bit twisted, but by now I was more than used to it with this release and definitely into it. The chemistry between Ashlyn and Dia grew very nicely through the scene, and there's plenty of nice and real orgasms throughout. Everything in the movie was building to this scene, and it works very well to satisfy rather than falling short at the last moment. This is yet another very well done scene.

Lesbian PsychoDramas 1 is a twisted but extremely hot all girl movie. The plot is kept light, but due to the family themes of the movie definitely isn't for everybody even though the entire cast does a great job with it. What really drives the movie is the sex. There's no shortage to the passion in each of the scenes, nor is there a shortage of real orgasms. The sex never gets nasty, which did surprise me a little with Aiden and Dana's scene together, especially since it would have fit well with their characters. The scenes all have a very natural feeling, and that helps them to work extremely well even though they're all fairly long at roughly a half hour each. As for complaints about the movie, I can't really have any. No, this is not your typical all girl movie, but the dark subject matter is handled extremely well and the chemistry in the scenes helps it past the often creepiness of the subject matter. I was a little nervous going into Lesbian PsychoDramas, but it quickly drew me in and left me more than satisfied due to plenty of very passionate sex.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Girlfriends Films DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $24 with a few stores offering them near the low end. This one's worth the money. The subject might not work for some people, but the sex is more than satisfying due to the high chemistry. The technical aspects are pretty good, but sadly there's no real effort put into the extras. This is a nicely done movie on a DVD that could use a touch more overall effort.

Note to Girlfriends Films: A little effort towards the extras would be quite nice, such as a small behind the scenes featurette. With the chemistry and personality of the players in this one I can't help but think that there could have been plenty of personality for a BTS as well.
