Initial Expectations: I’ve had pretty good luck with this series. I’m going in with fairly high hopes.

Initial Reaction: Although the DVD as a whole lacks slightly, the movie’s a winner!

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: There isn’t much for audio outside of the music. What there is seems nicely balanced, but it’s hard to tell with how little of it there is. The video is much better. It’s nicely lit and clear, and comes across very evenly throughout the movie.

Music: The music is soft and sexy. Unfortunately, it’s also pretty much the only audio in the movie.

Menus: The menus are nicely done. The main menu has a nice bit of animation and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and the name of each girl. It even gives you a secondary menu after you select the girl to jump directly to a specific sex act for the girl.

The Feature

This episode of the Legal Skin series heads the vignette route. There’s a little lead-in for each scene, but it’s always quick to move on to the sex and never relates one scene to another.

Scene 1 - Dori and James Brossman

After going for a little walk, Dori and James decide to get a little hot tub love back at the house. He kisses her all over before she slides into the tub to suck his cock. They get out for a little more knob gobbling before Dori takes it missionary style on the edge of the tub. She keeps things going by taking it in each of her holes from behind, and finishes things up with a nice facial from James.

This is a very nice opening scene. Dori has an amazing face and body, and gets into the sex quite well also. The camera does a good job moving around to capture her body and the action from several angles, and keeps the scene moving quite well despite not showing position changes, which I always like seeing. This scene has a few minor faults, but the action keeps it moving enough that it never really lagged for me.

Scene 2 - Lenka and George Uhl

After getting picked up on a cycle, Lenka and George get busy in his hotel room. She lets him grope her before kissing his way across her excellent natural body and down to her pussy. Lenka returns the favor with some nice knob gobbling before climbing up to ride George’s cock reverse cowgirl style. This is a pretty good scene, but the camera work held it back a bit. Lenka seems to get into the action very well, and puts in some nice effort. Unfortunately, in the process of getting a wide range of camera shots, there’s quite a few shots of things like the strap on her shoe and other things that I couldn’t have cared less about. This scene had the potential to be really great, but ended up very good instead.

Scene 3 - Passion and Leslie Taylor

After he bumps into Passion on an outside staircase, Leslie gives her a little tour of the area. They end up back at her place, and start kissing on her small balcony. They move back inside to help each other undress while exploring each other, with Leslie making the first move down under while Passion lays back in a chair. She mouths his manhood in reciprocation before letting Leslie nail her on her glass table. They get in a little more vaginal action with Passion riding Leslie reverse cowgirl on the couch before he fucks her ass doggie style. Finally Passion strokes him onto her face, and only closing her eyes at the last moment as Leslie takes control of his cock.

This is a pretty hot scene! Passion and Leslie do a great job of building chemistry with each other before they ever kiss, and keep it going throughout the entire scene. The camera work mixes things up once again, but this time does a much better job of keeping things focused on the performers. This is a hot scene, and my only real complaint is that I could barely hear the performers due to the style of the scene.

Scene 4 - Lara and Nick Lang

After waving goodbye to friends, Lara and Nick quickly start to get it on. Nick strips her out of her pants and plays with her pussy as Lara grinds against his lap and kisses him. She slides down to suck his cock while giving him some great eyes before letting him pound her pussy from behind and riding him reverse cowgirl style. This is another really hot scene. Although I don’t care for Lara’s tattoos, she has a look that reminds me a little of Jenna Haze and is so cute I couldn’t dislike her. Lara and Nick start things off taking a moment to build some excellent chemistry, and it pays off through the entire scene. The camera work pushes things a couple times by trying to be a little more artistic and by focusing on the penetration a bit much, but the chemistry between Lara and Nick save it. There’s also a couple minor blunders with the editing as Lara’s shirt seems to magically come and go through some parts of the scene. This isn’t a perfect scene, but it is darn hot!

Scene 5 - Gina and Csoky Ice

Gina starts out the final scene bringing Csoky a sweet treat as he works on their roof. After licking the frosting off his fingers a couple times, they kick things up a notch with some groping and Csoky dropping down to taste test her smoothly shaven slit. He gives both of Gina’s holes a little finger attention as well before she blows him in return. This is a great scene to finish things with. The entire cast is gorgeous, but Gina is definitely right at the top of it. She has a cuteness that makes the scene all the better, and looks to be into all of the action. Once again the camera does a nice job mixing up the views, and helps to make this a great scene to end things with.

Legal Skin 8 is a great episode in the Legal Skin series. The girls are hot, and Rex Sweet shows that he knows the importance of building up a little chemistry. He doesn’t spend a lot of time doing it in each scene, but he does spend enough time that every scene is strengthened because of it. It also makes this a raincoater movie that I think many couples will be able to enjoy. Both the girls and guys are very good looking, and although there is a fair amount of anal, it never seems forced or like the girls aren’t into it. The only hiccup for me in the entire movie was the second scene. Lenka was cute and seemed to get into the action well, but the camera work and editing threw me out of the scene a few times. That isn’t enough to stop me from really enjoying Legal Skin 8, which I think might be one of my favorite episodes in this hot series.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Smash DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $24 with most stores offering them in the $20 range. This one is well worth picking up. The sex is hot and should bear plenty of repeat viewings. There’s also a nice job done on the technical aspects, although the music is a bit heavy. No, there isn’t much for extras, but this is one of Smash’s older DVDs. For the age of this DVD and how new Smash was at the time, this is a nicely done DVD.

Note to Smash: It’s nice to see how you started doing the movie right with hot sex and a good transfer and how you’re working now to improve the overall DVD.
