Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects show very nice care, and are right up there with mainstream productions. The audio is clear and well balanced. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great with a clear picture, great care towards the lighting, and a solid hand on the camera and eye behind it. Basically this one looks every bit as good as anything you'd find on cable.
The Movie:

Yes, there's a couple places where you can tell that Dana Vespoli is working with a porn-sexed budget, but she really makes the most of it from start to finish starting with a very well done script and a top notch cast that knows just what to do with it. Dana does an amazing job in the lead role showing both the toughness of Lefty as well as the vulnerability while Bree Daniels is every bit as good as the reporter who's looked up to her for years and wants to help Lefty get herself back. The rest of the cast is just as solid in their roles, from Dani and AJ as diversionary sexpots to icons such as Veronica Hart, James Avalon, and Julia Ann in their supporting roles. I've always thought that in a great adult feature the sex and story rely on each other, and here they come together very well. There's great chemistry in each and every scene and the action is very nicely captured as well. The sex is also very nicely consistent so it's next to impossible for me to choose a best or worst or favorite or least favorite scene among them. Lefty is a solid movie from start to finish, and one that's well worth the purchase.
The Extras:
The photo gallery lasts a minute. There's also a behind the scenes featurette and trailers.
The behind the scenes featurette lasts about seventeen and a half minutes. Bree talks about this being her first time working with the legendary Julia Ann, her favorite positions, and personal favorites before she works on the script a little with Julia. Alexis and Dana give a little post-scene eye candy as they chat about Dana's butt, some of the area, and pose for some stills. Julia Ann laughs a little as she talks about how much she and Bree agree on their favorite position and why, some of her favorites, and her role in the movie. Bree and Veronica Hart work on their lines for the movie before Yhivi chats about herself, her role in the movie, some of her personal favorites, and where to find her online. It's a decent little behind the scenes featurette, but at the same time I was a little disappointed that Dana Vespoli wasn't involved in it more as I understood that this was a very personal project for her.
