The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are surprisingly well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn’t notice a single background noise. Although the rooms appear to be very hard, I didn’t notice any echoing either. The video shows some very nice care as well. There’s only a hint of grain and the lighting is very well done. There’s a few camera shakes, but that’s about the only thing I can say bad about the video here.

Music: None

Menus: The menus are okay. The main menu has some okay animation while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Every now and then you have to take off from work and relax a little. Of course, when you come back, things have happened that you need to catch up on. When Shanna McCullough returns from a few days off, Mistress Tara Indiana lets her know what happened while she was gone with the leatherbound dykes from Hell at their B&D club.

Scene 1 - Mistress Tara Indiana and Kate Frost

Kate starts out in a cute little cream outfit with her hands cuffed behind her as well as cuffs on her ankles while Mistress Tara is in an all black fetishwear outfit. Mistress Tara hikes up Kate’s top, and then flogs her ass after Kate moves in and licks her nipples without asking permission. Mistress Kate also spanks Kate with her bare hand and rewards her with a few kisses for Kate’s perky nipples, a little rubbing for clit, and a kiss on the mouth. Mistress Tara moves on to flog Kate’s lipstick smeared nipples and gives them a pair of weighted clamps before teasing and rewarding her with a vibrator. Finally, Mistress Tara has Kate bend over a set of sawhorses and flogs her ass before breaking out a strap-on. She has Kate suck her “cock” and then fucks her with it from behind as the scene fades out.

This is a great scene to start things out with. Mistress Tara does a great job of mixing up the pleasure and pain, and she looks like she’s having fun without being at all sadistic. Kate looks like she enjoys receiving both. Kate’s eyes light up repeatedly during the scene, and don’t really leave any doubt as to whether or not she’s enjoying herself. This is a very hot and excellent scene to start things out with, and my only complaint is that you don’t get to see more of Kate, Mistress Tara, and the strap-on.

Scene 2 - T. J. Hart and Cleo

Cute, busty, dirty blonde Cleo is given to T. J. for a little discipline in the second scene. T. J. cuffs Cleo’s wrists to a bondage table to hold her in place as she flogs and spanks her ass. She turns Cleo around and fondles her briefly before flogging her front before giving her a reward. T. J. rewards Cleo by letting her unzip the front of her bra to kiss her nipples. She mixes pleasure and pain for Cleo next by alternating between rubbing her with a vibrating glove and flogging her as Cleo’s restrained to the bed. Finally, T. J. puts on a strap on after Cleo begs her to fuck her. She sucks it before T. J. grants her wish as the scene fades out.

This is another nicely done scene. I have some problems with T. J. as a dom, just because she rarely shows the intimidation that I think a dom should. That gives this scene a light feel that didn’t always work for me. That said, it also worked for me most of the time because T. J. and Cleo looked like they were having fun. There’s a playful feel here that makes the scene enjoyable even if it barely has a single tinge of darkness.

Scene 3 - Mistress Tara Indiana and Lena Ramone

Lena starts out the penultimate scene giving Mistress Tara a massage before telling her that she’s like to try being blindfolded. Mistress Tara grants Lena’s wish, and then gives her a mix of natural touches as Lena kneels on a little moveable bondage furniture (I’m not sure whether to consider it a table or a chair as it could be either) for her. Mistress Tara moves on to flog Lena’s back while making her keep her posture perfect and then steps up to a whip. Of course she mixes in a few soft touches for contrast, but she doesn’t take too many breaks for it. Next, Mistress Tara tries a little string bondage, running it from a mouth guard, through Lena’s nipple rings, and then through her ankle cuffs. She also breaks out the clothespins and places them around Lena’s pussy. She licks it and breaks out a vibe before the scene fades out.

This scene makes a nice break from the others. There’s still chemistry, but it’s a much darker feeling scene than the previous scenes. You can tell that Lena is into the heavier bondage, and there isn’t the playful feeling that goes through so many of the others. For people who really enjoyed the previous scenes this scene might be a little hard to watch, but I really liked how it added to the diversity of the movie.

Scene 4 - Shanna McCullough and Jewel Marceau

Mistress Tara leaves Mistress Jewel with Mistress Shanna in the final scene. Mistress Jewel, who gets to be submissive here, gives Shanna a little show and then worships Mistress Shanna’s boots. Mistress Shanna spanks Jewel with her hand until her ass is nice and red next before breaking out a paddle. Jewel’s strapped down to a bondage table next where Mistress Shanna kisses her nipples and gives them a set of weighted clamps. Jewel begs for Mistress Shanna to make her cum, but Mistress Shanna tells her that she has to come before she’ll let Jewel cum. She hops up to ride Jewel’s tongue before the scene fades out.

This is a pretty good scene. It returns to the lighter feel and looks like both Shanna and Jewel are having a lot of fun. For some reason this scene seems to go by much faster than the others. Because of this, the scene ending with the real action being left out hurts it more than it does the others. This is a nice scene with some good heat, but its faults stand out a little more than in the other scenes.

Leatherbound Dykes From Hell 18 is another very nice addition to the series. As usual, it looks like everybody in the movie really enjoys bondage, which is something I’ve heard about Ernest Greene. I’ve been told that he wants to make sure that everybody enjoys the action in his movies, and it shows here. Most of the scenes have a fun feeling to them, although there is a bit of darker bondage between Mistress Tara Indiana and Lena Ramone. The biggest problem with the movie is the same problem that most bondage movies have. There’s no real sex with penetration. This is due to legalities in the States, and it’s very noticeable here because all of the bondage action leads to the girls in the scene getting it on. Once they start, the scene fades out. Sometimes it doesn’t matter too much, but in every case it hurts the scene to some point. Leatherbound Dykes From Hell 18 does a great job of showing what the rest of the series has, that bondage doesn’t have to be dark and foreboding without any chemistry.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts almost a minute and a half with roughly four seconds per nice looking snapshot. Trailers are included for Spiked Heel Diaries 14, Dresden Diary 20, Lusty Busty Dolls, and Spankenstein. There’s also internet information.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Bizarre DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $28 with most stores offering them for over $20. This one probably has enough replay value to be worth the low end if you like bondage with chemistry. The action is nicely done and the technical aspects also show some nice care. Sadly, the extras are extremely generic and don’t add a single thing to the DVD.

Note to Bizarre Video: Please put a little effort into your extras. I think over eighty percent of the DVDs I’ve watched from you had basically the same extras.
