Lauren Phoenix & Friends (New Machine) Review

The New Machine compilation train just keeps churning out the hits. Or lack thereof! “Lauren Phoenix and Friends” is the latest volume of the “And Friends” series, and it’s not any better than any of the others I’ve reviewed.

Basically, New Machine features one star performer, in this case Lauren, shows one scene from one of her New Machine features, then throws in a bunch of other clips of her so-called friends. My guess: Lauren isn’t “friends” with any of these girls and probably hasn’t even met most.

This volume should have been titled “B List Brunettes with Tats on Parade.” I haven’t seen this much body ink since my last trip to the docks. Not only should most of these girls not be part of a compilation, they shouldn’t have been allowed on the original feature. Aside from Asia Carrera and Gina Ryder, most of these are forgettable names (and bodies).

Technically, the disc I watched had a very bad transfer from tape. The scenes were dark, with an almost brownish look to them. Two scenes are misidentified, the sign of truly sloppy, careless work by a company that doesn’t care what they put on the shelves. The box cover advertises a Bonus Scene, but none was found. Terrible!

Sexwise, the girls (in order) are Lauren (doing two black guys), Asia (from 1994), Mai and Azteca (a lezout), Candy Lixx (not me, I hope), Adriana Sage, Gina, Jasmine Rose, and Tiffany Mason. There are some anal insertions, A2M, and facials. It’s basically a mish-mash of scenes, none of them erotic or hot.

So unless you are a huge fan of Randy West’s “Up and Cummers” or Ed Powers’ “Debutantes” series, pass on this one. It’s tough to watch and tougher to stomach.
