Angela isn’t convinced and wants to know why Whitney isn’t going through the normal channels and moving to human trials. Whitney makes the case that the drug is such a breakthrough that they need to fast-track the drug to beat possible competition to the market. Angela gets frustrated and says that risking that kind of move could cost millions if the medication doesn’t work. She says it’s not about beating others to the market as much as it is a human safety concern. If they rush the drug to human testing too soon it could lead to all kinds of lawsuits.

Dr. White wants commitment for her assistant and she encourages Whitney to prove her confidence in the drug’s safety by taking it right now! This was a fun scene that made fair use of a tried and true porn trope of manufactured or magical horniness. Other examples might be more over the top in their displays of exuberance and that can be fun to - but I appreciate the more restrained approach here. It also added a wrinkle that the ingestion of the magical means wasn’t accidental or unwitting. In so many other examples of ‘ the love potion story’ it’s a scheme gone wrong. I like that it’s understood and not played to a cartoonish level for comedy. I’m not implying that couldn’t work - in fact it has before , but in this case it worked for the characters.

I will say though that this scenes biggest drawbacks were somewhat predictable for me. I just think that office scenarios in general have a kind of comfort ceiling that limits both the duration of certain positioning and ultimately hampers my own enjoyment too.

Deft camerawork can make up for some of these problems but that too is made harder in office settings. The best parts about this were the character work I think. If I were going to pick a favorite segment of the sex I think I would give it the seated leg lock reach around fingering. Not only was it creative in limited space but it was shot well and achieved some of the best visual results too.

I think there are some interesting places this story could go for future installments and that’s a good test of a story concept in my eyes ; You could expand on it by having Whitney now years later, tasked with creating an extra strength formula for tough cases, or perhaps as a remedy for her own higher tolerance after using it. Another possibility is an addiction story about someone who used it for recreation too many times and now can’t ‘ come down’. I think a MILF like Serene Siren would be great in this but maybe it would be better if it was Dr. White herself. Any of these would likely be more suited to the over the top style I referenced earlier.

Overall a good start to a dvd. More than 40 minutes of runtime also gave plenty of space to build a story and execute it.

This was a decent quick scene. It lasted just over 30 minutes but thankfully started quick , not needing much in the way of setup.

What I liked about this story and character portrayal was the clearly established prior relationship and the authority dynamics that went with it. Having Sydney not question Chanel’s demand for immediate orgasms was good for maximizing the shorter runtime but it felt unique too even for a series set around bosses . I think we should see more scenarios where relationships are already in place.

Of course as an advocate for longer stories it’s obvious that these things can be done through multipart series - but this example illustrates how it’s not necessary if you set up character relationships through well placed conversational cues. One major positive of this is that you then avoid the now all too common tropes of reluctance. I know it’s a big turn on for some fans , and like all things it has it’s place - but I feel that too much of the ‘ I’m not sure , should we really be doing this ‘ dance has made a lot of scenes less than what they could be.

Even if you set aside the fans like me who don’t count reluctance as a turn on I think that it’s overuse still slows the flow of sex and ends up dividing the performer’s attention by creating a bit of a porn star paradox. What I mean by this is in high quality story based porn there are at least two central aims in performance. Good sex , and good acting. So , when you prize reluctance you set the star up in a place where she almost assuredly has to pick a side and sacrifice one aim to highlight the other. If you sell the reluctance too hard or too often it dampens the sex, if you just go for it on the sex side and forget the character building you get people who complain that the story got lost.

I may get shouted down by a few very passionate fans on this point but in general I think it would be good to use reluctance as a key element far less. Try more scenes like this that start out with characters who have an understanding of each other and the basic reality that they like women.

My favorite segment in this scene was the anal rimming that Sydney gave to Chanel. The matter of fact delivery of Chanel saying ‘ you know what to do’ and turning around to assume the position was hot! And I’ll add that it builds on the premise that Chanel is in charge and her submissive secretary knows it. That’s simple but subtle execution of character building and it works.

The use of the phone interruptions as a hook to make the scene different got a little tiresome for me personally. I don’t begrudge the idea to spice things up though. I do know that this became the central theme of a mini series itself ( called Hold The Phone ) that’s a bit excessive in my view but might be workable if done cleverly.

Much like the Almost Caught subset of scenes which this is a kind of kissing cousin to conceptually the optimal number of interruptions of sex should be 2 or 3 max - and hopefully done in a way that makes use of the moment as more than filler. I quite liked the ‘I’m eating my lunch crack ‘ and it led to the best pussy eating of the scene in my view. That is an effective use of the hook to create a moment in the sex and in character .

I know that the phone conversation doesn’t put a stop to the action in a total way like almost caught moments do but I do think it kept Chanel from being able to fully look like she was enjoying herself as she had to focus on lines. I wouldn’t want to limit creativity by saying don’t use these phone conversations or similar hooks in the future , just be aware when you are doing too much.

Chanel Preston is always a good casting choice for a bossy babe. She’s a convincing actress when raising her voice and doesn’t go too far with it. If I were fantasy booking a continuation of this idea I would center it around Chanel’s character as she gets more power as a mean wolf of wall street / minx in the bedsheets type. There is a lot of stuff you could do there. Or, if you want to flip it a little have Sydney Cole or a former partner or client of Chanel’s trying to scheme away her business.

Another possible direction for later story connection could involve Jenna J. Ross’s character from ‘Lezcoin’ the Bitcoin spoof. Even if you can’t secure the exact casting linking the story threads feels like a natural fit.

Overall , a pretty solid scene. It was defined by good energy and forward momentum that carried this short affair though to a decent finish. Again, I don’t love the limitations of the office setting but that comes with the thematic territory I suppose .

The open to this final scene is a perfect illustration of the loosely connected branching narratives that have gone out of use more recently at Girlsway ( one upside to me being so far behind in reviews is that I can point these things out with direct examples: even better we have two such connections that build on past character and plot , proving that it can be done simply with just a little effort in writing.

First we see Sinn Sage annoyingly telling a vendor that she needs units now and she doesn’t care what Georgia told whoever it was about the order because Georgia doesn’t work there any more, briefly referring to something Georgia did with Sinn’s wife that cost Georgia her job. -{ this is a reference to Squirting Stories : Cheaters Always Squirt w/ Georgia Jones and Sinn’s wife Karla Kush ) Meanwhile cut to Penny Pax explaining to Karlee Grey how Vanessa Veracruz was let go by the same company after she forced Penny’s hand when Penny pretended to be married to her roommate Darcie Dolce to help get put on the company health plan as a spouse. Vanessa didn’t believe the two were really gay and used her position to convince the two to have a threesome to demonstrate their lesbianism {as seen previously on Lady Boss : Prove It} according to Penny Sinn fired Vanessa when she learned that she has initiated sex with a subordinate outside of the office.

Karlee is surprised and amused at this and hints that Sinn would be really upset if she knew what she and Penny have been doing In The Office. Rewarding longtime fans with little Easter eggs like this is a cool way to show them that you appreciate them caring.

I especially love the idea of Penny , who was previously faking being in a lesbian relationship playing a newly awakened horny lesbian thanks to the first encounter. That’s hot detail, and could feasibly be built on even further if Darcie’s character were brought back and shown as still being friends with Penny but now unexpectedly feeling jilted and jealous of Karlee. There might even be the seed for a polyamory story in there if Darcie was also turned by the threesome but now finds herself equally smitten with Karlee. Likewise the story of Sinn’s broken relationship with her ex wife Karla and her former business partner Georgia could be tied further to this concept if Penny’s open poly relationship gets her thinking about how everything could be worked out if they all learned to share.

I understand that asking for this type of involved writing is somewhat of a long shot ( especially now that member fantasies are out ) but I think it’s important to remember that its not as complicated or budget heavy as some other fan requests. All it takes to plant seeds for evolving characters and relationships is the desire to do it. Obviously a universe where everything is connected would be too much to attempt but an occasional call back to previous characters and scenes is entirely reasonable and would in itself open up fun possibilities for the writing team and the talent to explore.

The meta connections were what I liked most about this scene. It’s super cool because I didn’t even know they were coming when I began this review with a plea for return to that type of storytelling technique. It used to be a hallmark of Girlsway that made being a devoted fan really pay off, it can be so again.

I also think it’s a good kind of exception to the almost caught formula if sometimes the couples are caught and we get a resulting threeway. The setup before the threesome began was about 12 minutes of the 42 minute runtime. That included not just the story lead in but the two starts and interruptions where they nearly got busted.

If there was a main complaint I had it was just the relatively fast position changes. There was still good camera angles of most key moments thankfully.

All told this was a good quality threesome that unexpectedly helped me ( hopefully ) prove a point about how world building can be embraced again at Girlsway with a little effort and creative juice.

Final Thoughts and Suggestions

This is the second collection of Lady Boss scenes. We see decent variety although all the stories have the boss characters calling the shots more or less. It would be good to see the trend turned on its head a bit where the ‘ boss ‘ gets surprised or maybe craves discipline herself in future scenes.
