The Kelly the Coed series continues through its ups and downs, with more downs than ups, into the eleventh volume. This is the first entry in the series to directly state that Kelly (Allysin Chaynes) has actually managed to successfully become a sophomore, even after all of her grade issues her freshman year. Kelly is excited that she is a sophomore but she and all of her Pi Pi sorority sisters are all having grade issues, yet again.

If that story sounds tired at this point it is, it seems that Jim Powers uses grade issues a lot as a premise within this series. As with many other entries in the series at this point, the story is virtually non-existent essentially making this a vignette movie with sex scenes verses a feature movie with sex scenes that fit in with a plot. The vignettes are just excuses to get into the next sex scene. Some of the footage is shot on a college campus, USC Rossier, and at what appears to be an actual frat house which at least helps the college feel the movie attempts to create.

Recurring actors and actresses are hit and miss with their characters in this entry. Brian Surewood, who has played a frat boy in Kelly the Coed, the first one. Herschel Savage returns as the dean yet again. His name appears to have been altered slightly from the last movie. In this one he is Dean Wormer (in an obvious rip-off of National Lampoon's Animal House). In the last entry, his name sounded like Dean Wormhead, so at least it is close here. It is also worth noting that he has also played Professor Schwartz in Kelly the Coed — Part 3 and Mr. Goldberg in Kelly the Coed — Part 4. Sabrina Jade, who played an unnamed Pi Pi sorority girl in the last entry appears here as Chrissy, a role she will reprise in the spin off movie Chrissy the Campus Slut.

Powers is recycling locations as well, the entry foyer to Kelly's father's house is the observatory from Chrissy the Campus Slut, where Summer Storm and Billy Glide's scene takes place, still sporting the giant globe. Speaking of Kelly's father, is it worth mentioning that Kelly's full name is revealed in this entry. Yes, Kelly's father is called Mr. Kelly by Chrissy, making Kelly's name Kelly Kelly. Yes that is, for the most part, sadly the amount of creativity that went into this entry.

On a side note, Powers did manage to actually work Allysin Chaynes' boob job into the movie, which happened between Kelly the Coed — Part 10: Greek Fest and this movie. Her dad finds out that the computer money that he sent Kelly was used to get the boob job. This might be the most creative part of the entire movie.

The sex scenes aren't bad. Some are shot nicely and the cast looks good. However, they aren't worth sitting through the rest of this attempt at a movie to get to.

Heatwave has done a poor job with this release. Kelly the Coed — Part 11 is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of approximately 1.33:1. The video looks decent but shows the limitations of the original video masters. Kelly the Coed — Part 11 is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track, which is poor. Throughout the sound reproduction is poor, especially so at Kelly's father's house, which is downright terrible to listen to. Heatwave has included a few extras but only one has anything to do with the feature movie. There is a photo gallery included on the disc. Heatwave has also included Jim Powers' 2000 movie 18 and Confused on the disc. There is also a claim of Fallen Angels as enhanced DVD-ROM content, but all they have included is the trailer if you put the disc in your computer.

18 and Confused is a vignette movie to come from Jim Powers and features scenes with barely legal girls. The situations are rather ridiculous and are very poorly thought out. The first scene brings us Mrs. Maloney (Randi Storm) who confronts the barely legal Danielle (Dyn-a-mite) who she thinks is fucking her husband Dave (Dave Hardman) so she forces Danielle to fuck both of them. The second scene has the barely legal Amy (Anastasia Blue) who is on her Uncle Rod's (Rod Fontana) farm and has never seen a cock, so he shows her his. The third scene has Dean (Joel Lawrence) and his friend (Kyle Stone) in his sisters room while she is having a sleepover. One of her friends (Chloey Adams) catches Dean sniffing his sister's panties, so all three fuck. The last scene has two college guys (J.J. Michaels and Johnny Thrust) making fun of Blondie (Gia Regency), who is in their geography class, but then she comes over so they can “study.”

The vignettes aren't well developed at all. The first scene has the most work put into it and the second has the least amount. The scenes aren't believable at all and fall into the worst of the worst of adult entertainment clichés. And the scenes end with the cum shots; there is no attempt to try to conclude the scene. The sex scenes aren't bad, but there are far better adult movies out there.

Heatwave has done a poor job with 18 and Confused. The movie is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of approximately 1.33:1. The limitations of the video masters are very evident. It looks like the bit rate was set too low for the feature as well as there are times of fast movement that pixels show on the screen. There is a good chance that the movie has been cut on this release as well, most sites list the run time as 85 minutes and on this disc it runs a scant 67 minutes. 18 and Confused is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track, which also isn't great. The audio is set too low and can be hard to hear at times.

Kelly the Coed — Part 11: Daddy's Little Angel is a poor entry into the Kelly the Coed series. The movie has done away with any pretext of plot and become a series of vignettes. The movie 18 and Confused is included on the DVD, but it may be edited. The sex scenes are okay, but not worth the cost of admission. Heatwave has done a poor job with the release of the DVD.
