Initial Expectations: I haven’t heard anything about Kandi Peach, but I’ve been enjoying amateur movies quite a bit. I’m going into this one with a bit of hope.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and well balanced, even with Sinclair talking to Kandi and the guys. There’s a couple minor background noises, but they’re both pretty minor. The technical aspects are pretty good. There’s a bit of grain throughout the movie as well as a discolored bar at the bottom of the screen. It’s normally nicely lit, but there are a few tinting problems here and there where things seem to take on a blueish green tint.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu doesn’t give the best impression, and lets you choose between the movie and a few extras. If you choose, the movie, you’re given a chapter menu that lets you select where you want to go based on a few stills.

The Feature

Scene 1 - Kandi Peach and a couple guys

Kandi starts things out letting the camera know that she’s ready to get jumped before they chat with her party guests. My only real complaint here is that you never get to see her get that double penetration she said she wanted.

Scene 2 - Kandi Peach and Sinclair

Kandi’s bleached blonde hubby Sinclair joins in the action next. Kandi Peach 45 is an okay amateur movie. Actually, it’s more of a pro-am movie as Kandi and Sinclair seem like they’ve been doing it plenty long. Kandi’s body style is something that I think will make or break the movie for a lot of people, as she’s got a full figure that most people don’t expect to see in porn. Personally, I don’t mind it as long as the performer can deliver a hot scene. Therein lies some of the problem I had with Kandi Peach 45. Kandi looks to be into it pretty well, but the two guys she’s with for most of the movie often seem a little lost, and Sinclair’s camera work didn’t always do much for me. Yes, Kandi and Sinclair seem to be into her taking on plenty of guys, but the rest of the movie didn’t make for the best entertainment. The best thing about the movie is easily Kandi taking the facials, since the camera captures it well and Kandi has such a fantastic nasty look in her eye that it seems like it should be enough to make most male viewers pop right there. The rest of the movie, however, seemed drawn out and often left me a bit bored due to the camera angles. I’m sure that Kandi Peach will have a following, and it is nice to see real people fucking, but Kandi Peach 45 just didn’t work too well for me.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about a minute and a quarter with about four seconds per poor and grainy looking image. There’s also about twenty minutes of trailers from other Kandi Peach releases. Unfortunately, they’re all done on one chapter so you can’t skip past any of them if they don’t interest you or if you’ve already seen the release. Finally, there’s The Swinger’s Corner, which lasts a couple minutes and talks about the importance of meeting in public for the first time if you’re swinging as well as giving a swinging commercial.

Currently, many of Kandi Peach’s DVDs can be found online for around $20. I’d rent this one first unless you’ve seen a few other of Kandi’s movies. The sex is okay and there’s a little effort put towards extras. The technical aspects vary a bit, but are much better than the typical amateur release. This is an okay movie on an okay DVD.

Note to Kandi Peach: A little more effort towards the little details on your DVDs could go a long way. If this is the best you can get the picture on your photo galleries, you might be better off just leaving them off. A little more style on your main menu would also be a good idea because it’s going to give the viewer their first impression.
